Adding "assistant coach of a 3-peat Texas softball team" to his resume is a heckuva sales pitch to make. Could be a springboard to him getting a HC gig at a power conference program.

Probably more $$$ and more exposure to bigger job. The ASU head coach was assistant for White and Steve Singleton now HC at Cal Berkeley.

Read where his wife coached there as well. Not saying we get a 2 for 1 lol. But she is she gets a role somewhere. Nothing but good reviews so far.

He’s an accomplished head coach and it’s a great get for Mike White so why would he give up that position now to come be an assistant here? Seems like he’d be looking for a bigger opportunity to lead a program instead.

Appreciate the take. Just all the noise started last night and Sales being on Campus that turned into an OV for a couple days. Of course LSU was gonna turn up the heat. We all knew this would be a battle. Good to hear all sides views and then see how it plays out. Should be a great recruiting weekend with both those guys here🤟
