@Blake Munroeif you say anything bad about my Lobos I'll hunt you down. LOL

By game time line will be a pick em.

Perhaps. Was it you or someone else that shot down Endries? Similar size, similar profile. Same TDs, more catches, probably more actual experience. Until they prove it or that you have evidence to the contrary, the pass catching TE is about a push. It is difficult to determine on these guys how fast they are. Jatavion Sanders was highly thought of, really as a 2 way player out of high school. 3rd round pick. As far as Loveland is concerned, I’d concede his numbers against us to Klare. Personally, I don’t think Klare or Tate will win many individual matchups. That’s not to say there weren’t be opportunities to make plays. That’d be more a function of over playing Smith or the play fake. It’s just unlikely they’ll abuse us with their traits. Individually we match up well. Obviously things can change but neither has had a particularly big game in a big game. And no 7 for 87 in which Smith catches one ball is not a big game. You wouldn’t take 8 for 100 between the two, but we sure as heck would.

So we are going to 9 games and each team gets 3 permanent opponents. This is how I think it should be. Do you think its fair? What would you change?

Ohio St. names Sayin as starter

Yup, 100%. There’s a reason Vegas has this under a FG line. -

I don't think he's Brock Bowers either. Prob not even Tyler Warren but maybe his game is closer to Colston Loveland. Both 1st rounders by the way. In any event, he's without question one of the top TE in the game and offers a big, talented target with tons of experience in the middle of the field that we didn't have last year and we are better as a result. With all the attention given to our outside receivers, I expect him to be very productive and could play himself into a 1st round pick

This is tapping into a market that doesn’t exist on the level OTF is on YT. Smart decision.

Bowers was a top 100 recruit. Caught double digit TD passes as a freshman. He had 3 seasons with as many catches as Klares best to date. 26 TDs to 4 TDs. Bowers reported a 4.5 40, 40 inch vertical. I did not find either for the top 1,200 recruit Klare. Bowers is rare. Of all the good TEs in the NFL, I’m not sure he has a comp.

Looks like he could still go for ACU!

DraftKings has dropped the line in the Texas-Ohio State to a point and a half in favor of the Buckeyes. The original opening line had the Buckeyes as 3-point favorites. That has since been chopped in half. The over/under for this game remains 47.5.

I'm finalizing something for that today.

Good seeing you!

No, we didn't do a video last night. We took questions from the audience.

They’re becoming more and more aggy every day.

Really enjoyed the visiting Buckeye perspective. Made me realize, or at least remember, that all fan bases are biased. That’s the beauty of being a fan. I was talking to a big BYU fan the other day and he was convinced they’d be 10-2 at worst. It’s the beauty of the offseason. Every year some are right and some are wrong but there’s nothing wrong with some optimism. Ultimately Texas and Ohio St are highly ranked by the AP and Coaches poll because they have a lot of talent. It’s silly to assume one team will easily beat the other. May happen of course, but more likely it’s a good game. The final score may or may not reflect that, like the semi final last year. It’ll probably come down to who makes the big plays. Both big plays last year were made by Ohio St (end of half screen pass, strip sack/fumble return). Here’s hoping those go Texas’ way this year. It’ll be a challenge for sure. I think our guys will be up for it. We will see in 8 days!

Looks like you’re making your move Blake. Hope you are very successful. couldn’t happen to a better guy .

I was actually thinking about this idea a couple weeks ago, but I'm glad that you had the same one and ran with it. Really looking forward to watching it now!

SEC implementing nine game conference schedule in 2026
Alex Butler replied to Blake Munroe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
As an Arkansas grad I’m sad that LSU got taken off the schedule. So many great game between the hogs and Cajun queens.
