  2. Nice article. 53. Wonder how that # compares to other universities in terms of the total players this year? Think it would be in the top 5 at least. But man how far we have come in the last few years developing guys for the NFL .
  3. Earl. I know you said football, but my favorite all-time all-sports are Earl / Nolan Ryan / Dream All #34 (pros). H-town. Also VY. And Bijan is getting there quickly. Favorite all-time non-horns were Bo Jackson, Steve Young, and Jerry Rice, though I hate the niners now lol. Not as much as the damn Steelers though... 🤘
  4. lol , he probably would’ve ranked higher if he didn’t get injured. Loved watching Isaiah Taylor / Johnathan Holmes / etc. back when the games were on the Austin local channel in 720p lol
  5. He retired on the job his last 4 years and was petty going out the door. Yes he did some good things. Embarrassing how he left.
  6. Pretty even matchups all around. Who can run the ball more effectively and stop the run wins imo. And of course special teams in a game like this becomes even more important. Niblett, Bishop, etc vs Legend Bey ha. Kicker had a nice day. No punts so who knows there. This ought to be a good one , no excuses. Gotta win at home and believe we will in a tight one!
  7. Just bought my ticket. First game since graduating in 2010. Gotta get the W.
  8. Yesterday
  9. Baker Mayfield’s persona is just a detriment to himself. He has to always have a chip on his shoulder. Then when you are the top dog, the whole chip on your shoulder thing becomes a transparent act that’s difficult to convince others and yourself of. The best athletes and coaches like Jordan, Kobe, Brady, Mahomes, Saban- they’re just out there respecting their opponents but looking to beat the crap out of them, and also looking to continually outperform themselves and literally be the best. I do respect Mayfield (I actually have a love hate/respect relationship with the Sooners), but I think he’s immature. It’s annoying to us and a detriment to his ultimate success
  10. OU was an underdog when I got ‘em at +1.5
  11. Obviously Bijan is Bijan, and Murphy's (and Dickson) great on my Seahawks, but who do you see as other top or breakout performers going into this year? Seem like Worthy has underwhelmed a little. Seems like we are deeper on practice squads than starting 22, which I think is shifting, but curious who you see some of those other high quality guys being. I'm much more of a Saturday than a Sunday football guy, so not as up on who might be up there, or coming on to be up there... 🤘
  12. Embarrassed himself to the tune of Texas first national title in 40 years and one of the best HC records of all time
  13. He has finally beginning to grow up and act like an adult.
  14. The Collins injury is brutal. My 9ers just can't keep people healthy.
  15. Mayfield is a prick but he is a warrior prick
  16. Don't want to see him and damn sure don't want to listen to him
  17. I love Binney largely because I'm a guy and she is extremely cute but she much better suited as a situational sub then as a full time starter
  18. Super job Bobby. Hero seems like a great dude. You can find the interview on LHN.
  19. Mike Leach giving dating advice. Leanne Morgan is pretty darn funny. Norm McDonald was gold.
  20. I saw with my own 👀 High School: Kyler Murray, Johnathon Gray, Aaron Ross, Malcom Brown RB, James Henry, Devin Thomas College: VY, Jamal Charles, Romance Taylor, Colt, J Ship, RG3
  21. As much as I like Coleman out there drawing attention from defenders, we still need him to block like he cares when the ball isn't coming his way. That said, this is his money game. Lots of good film to make Saturday night.
