you can see the pain he feels in losing the players. Hopefully he learns from it and those players don't learn to regret their decisions.

You can't help but listen to that and appreciate Vic as a man. You may not agree with every coaching decision he makes, but there's very few coaches who are as open and honest about how he sees the game and how he coaches. Thanks for posting. Proud that Vic is a Longhorn!

USA U18 team Bo Ogden and Reese Alston don’t make Final Cut. on the Ogden side, I’m quietly happy as these guys don’t take/get much time to rest body. Was a great experience for him, and now he gets 10’ish days to rest prior to Texas workouts starting June 8 -
Been a wet two months. Every day in Austin there are lightning strikes of some kind.
-
Meteorologist here: El Niño is in full effect. Expect a much more wet summer across the entire southern US.
-
got heavy rain last night here in San Antonio, maybe minor flooding, but the rain has been off and on for the past couple weeks and it still gets sunny and humid here

It seems like he’s willing to die on this hill:

This!! Rehab does not tell you to go back to your normal activities that drove you to your addiction. They tell you to remake your life void of the things that created the toxic environment you are in. Addiction is not like a cold that you just get over. It's a life long thing that will constantly weigh on you. You can be sober for years and you will still have that voice in the back of your head asking you to do one more bump, one more drink, one more whatever it is, and you have to fight that voice EVERYDAY. I would akin what he is trying to do to an alcoholic going back to work as a bartender. NO DUDE!! The fact that he is in the spotlight makes it so much worse. He is going to have fans heckling him constantly about it. every move he makes that is wrong, will be questioned about did he have money on the line. -

Yeah I agree. I think if you just slide them both up ahead of Lanning, then it looks good. Sark vs Lanning could be a good debate but I don't feel too strongly either way. -
Three players Schloss and the staff recruited and developed out of high school. This staff is on the right track.

Cristobal and DeBoer should be higher than Sark and Lanning -
Lots of great rain out here in the hill country/highland lakes/Marble Falls! Got 3.5 inches last night and LOVING it! Keep it coming!

The CBS Sports staff has Sark at No. 6, one spot behind Dan Lanning and one spot ahead of Mario Cristobal. Too high? Too low? Fair?

I'm in south Fort Worth and it's felt like it's been on and off rain with overcast weather for two weeks now. Hoping we don't get rained out on Sunday at the camp in Austin

UCLA was a VERY good team. It’s not like losing to them was a huge upset.

This is literally right outside of my office. Craig, I'm going to catch a spy shot of you from my office window.
