It's exactly why I feel bad about it. It's a must win game cause if we can't win on the road and if we can't win against decent offenses we're screwed with this schedule. I also expected the offense to name their score againstUTSA but Arch was just inaccurate in a concerning and unusual way and Sark's paly callnig was dubious at best. I hope all the things that went on this week and the win against OSU were the reason Arch seemed off the whole game and not really focused and that we play a complete or semi-complete game against the vols. But I don't have a good feeling as of now and the lines for vegas just seemed very strange cause the other day we were at -4.5 so how the hell did it go up to -5.5 after *that* performance offensively

That didn't help. The way the game was called contributed to it being unwatchable at times.

Texas is going to have to win with the run game on Saturday. Arch is really struggling.

It's frustrating because they did that against Ohio State. Running more than half of your plays in the opponent's territory should've resulted in more than 30 points.

Yeah, but Vegas casinos are so nice for a reason. They know things we don't. This offseason, I said Texas must get out of September 4-0 for me to feel good about them making the CFP. After watching the teams on Texas' SEC schedule, I think I underestimated how good Florida, the Mississippi schools and Missouri were going to be. If the offense is catered towards its strengths (Manning's scrambling ability and the running game) they can win all these games. If not, they will lose 3-4 games even if they beat Tennessee. Must win game in Knoxville.

There's something to that, I think. Coach Shipley mentioned that in our "Burning Questions" video, which will be out later today. He felt that was the turning point for Arch.

Don't have a good feeling about this game guys! Hope I'm wrong! I feel like a lot of the misses from Arch are mental and that's hard to get over in just a week's time. Sark needs to call a better game too and the OL needs to play a bit better. Also the O/U is really high and the line is -5.5 for Texas? Seems crazy to me after last night lol

Last night was what I'd call bowling-shoe ugly.

Learn from it, flush it and move on to Tennessee.

Marcel is also not Johnny Manziel.

This is a huge concern for me the day after. More often than not, for quarterbacks, discretion is the better part of valor.

Sark may be doing the same with Arch. He’s trying to make him a pure pocket passer and he’s not that.

Sark isn't without blame, but I'm putting a much greater percentage on last night toward Arch's performance.

I read thread on TexAgs last week where they were embarrassed by the Yell Leaders, Corps etc. Some of them seem to be aware of how cringeworthy this is to everyone outside the cult. They're a national laughingstock

There was something to that last night. It felt like Sark's calls were geared toward helping Arch improve in areas where he's struggled in the past. Still, as I've said in other posts, Sark can only do so much when Arch isn't hitting open receivers.
