  1. Past hour
  2. Actually flood is great at developing tackles been saying that all along
  3. Take this post with a grain of salt because obviously we don’t know the severity of Goosby’s injury, and God forbid it’s season ending. But if I had to be pessimistic about this situation and had to mock up an line come September 5th I think there would be two options. 1. (Likely Scenario) Jordan Coleman will fill in the spot and go from there. 2. (Probably won’t happen but experience matters) Kick Baker back out to tackle and Hutson fills in the open guard spot. Hopefully Goosbys results come back positive and all this speculation is what it is, just speculation.
  4. An orthopedic surgeon who went to UT just walked by me and shook his head. He never shakes his head.
  5. Ah - I saw Hank’s post with the press conference quote in the Goosby injury post and just assumed it was after. Thanks
  6. This is a great day for the unemployed like myself
  7. had to google this "ACL/MCL tears don’t paralyze your leg. Plenty of guys walk off the field with them. The ones you can’t stand on are patellar tendon or quad tendon ruptures" whatever that means. Any doctors here?
  8. Is this a Hank problem or a Trevor problem? Back in the day when we had to dial up Jerry Scarborough at $10 a minute to get information nobody got injured. Nobody that I knew of.
  9. I really hope Trevor is going to be OK not only for us but for him. He is one great kid. The whole family seems to be. He’s got a really bright future
  10. It happened at Monday night practice not Monday morning .
  11. Sounds like this happened Monday night after Sark spoke with the media.
  12. I was wondering who would be up. I heard Coleman has had a really nice camp
  13. So in other words we just need to wait and find out. No use speculating
  14. And I’ll add - Sark likely knew the results of the Lachman test when he held that press conference and gave the knock on wood quote about injuries. Leads me to believe Lachman test was negative for ACL
  15. Which report said that? Not doubting just curious edit: nvm just saw the edit to the original post thx
  16. The staff likely already knows if it’s an ACL. The manual Lachman test is very accurate. The MRI would just be confirmatory. So they’re either doing an MRI to confirm ACL or bc it’s not an ACL and to check other ligaments/ soft tissue
  17. Except that wasn’t my first response. My point was that Texas has one of the three most talented rosters in the country and should have enough talent to withstand losing one player, even a very good one. And your hypothetical actually proves my point. I wouldn’t suddenly assume the entire season is over because Ohio State has a loaded roster and plenty of other elite players. You keep arguing against something I didn’t say because apparently “Goosby is a huge loss AND Texas should still have enough talent to overcome it” is too nuanced for the assistant manager. 😂
