If Texas goes to the portal for QB does that mean losing all 3 scholarship QBs that are set to return? -

Some of the stuff we see from the OL on a week to week basis is truly horrifying. -
That was the OU and Fla model.

What do you think is the main issue with the OL? How would you fix it? I am just so surprised at how bad they look at times. -

How do I get the kind of job security Kyle Flood has? I’m trying to figure out how to do a piss-poor job every day and still somehow be considered essential to the operation -

I am not entirely sure. Feels like it could have helped on the 4th and shorts. -

What happened to the Jordan Coleman short yardage package? The one that bullied Ohio State in short yardage? Had a handful of 3rd and 4th and shorts and Sark never thought to use it? -

Remember “if not now when?” And playoff or bust? (Some said natty/semifinals or bust). We’re 6 games in and have busted. In a dream world, who would be your choice to come coach at Texas if hypothetically Sark was not head coach at Texas after this season? -

Literally happens all the time. The game evolves pretty quickly. We’ve had basically the same core offensive staff and no fresh thoughts from anyone with any sort of pull. We expect Sark to stay on the cutting edge of offensive football while also being the head coach? There’s only so many hours in the day. -

There’s a Major chance we know the guy that Bobby talked to lol -
I don't know what to say. CJ Vogel has been on this from the very beginning. Brooks Austin has been all over it....and on it for a awhile as well: the footwork, the mechanics, the processing, the speed of play, the decision making. Now, Max Browne adds to it. But, for this site, I give CJ all the credit and Gerry walked into his camp yesterday saying: start Lacey vs Ole Miss. What's crazy is: Sark is watching the same film as everyone else but is giving Arch a ton of rope here to continue to play him. I ask this now: If you don't start Lacey, what is it going to take to convince you to sit Arch? The answer will be: We are losing 21-3. GEEZE! My biggest problem is with those who look at the scoreboard versus those who watch the field of play. There are those that say: The OLine is the problem, the RBs and the TEs need to step up and block - then they cherry pick 2 plays in the game to prove their point without holding Arch to the same standard. I think after CJ, Brooks and now Max the breakdowns have begun to get some traction. Arch is at best and average QB - at best. I don't care about the flashes, I desire consistency. Max even uses the word "lucky" for some those flashes. Then, those that love Arch or who are slow to come around talk about his record - again joining the crowd of the scoreboard watchers. Arch fails the test of fundamental QB play. I'm willing to bet you that if you called up every Coach of a Team in The Top 20, they would be reluctant to take Arch through the Portal. Not gonna happen and that tells you all you need to know. It is time to move on. Arch has done a lot for the Program. I like Arch as a kid, but as a QB for The Univ of Texas, I'm not a Fan and haven't been for awhile. Finally, that tent has begun to grow. Hey, if my wife who is from Louisiana and a fan of The Mannings can say Arch does not have it for the standard of The Univ of Texas and that he needs to move on - if she can see it long before any action has taken place then seriously, Sark, put The Team first and Lets Go! CJ is The Best! Hook'em!!!

The coaches didn’t forget how to coach. Something is, hopefully not permanently, disconnected in Arch’s head. -

Arch foot work was already bad Before HR crap. -
Which is probably why Sark is sticking with him for now. If Arch continues to fail against unranked teams or repeat the same mistakes he needs to be benched.
-
It will be coaching if Arch can’t get it right and doesn’t get benched. It will all come down on Sark in the end. But the root problem is all Arch’s.

Man I hope 1,000% I am wrong, but Sark’s success has been under Saban and Pete Carroll that had WAY better rosters than everyone else AND they ran everything from the top. Saban made every decision while he was at Bama or he blessed off on every single thing. Sark wasn’t a head coach long enough for us to know how he would be with the top job. We do know he’s a good recruiter. But we don’t know how he is as a manager or a player caller when stuff’s not working and you have to adjust. I think I know how this ends but dang I’m tired of getting coaches that can’t take us to the top. He’s made us better but I mean make us like a Georgia or a Saban Alabama. They ought to money whip Saban to come in and be General Manager/Assistant to the Head Coach or some title and let him run it. He doesn’t want to stay on College Game Day forever. We are paying so much money now…….Go big or go home. - Today

Some people won't like this but I would entertain hiring the best high school football coach in Texas if not America. Scott Surratt. The dude has lost 8 playoff games and won state 11 times.
