Disappointing ending to the season, but I really like what Schloss is doing and the trajectory of the program. I thought I remember Schloss saying he might be a year away on the roster construction, so to get to the World Series was good. I guarantee today him and the staff are digging in today on the portal to see what upgrades they can find. We’re going to get back to what we know Texas baseball should be. Proud of our kids fighting. They gave all they had……it just wasn’t enough to get over the hump. Good times ahead for Texas baseball.

Texas landed Torres. So obviously now with three people in the class we’ll see if Texas even wants to add more. They’re in great position already now. Only hole is maybe a corner outfielder?

Caleb Siler commits to Northwestern
Jc Dobbs replied to Jordan Scruggs's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I'm always curious about what the TAX burden is on the financial offer from Northwestern (State of Illinois, City of Chicago and Federal combined) compared to the smaller financial offer from the University of Texas (No state income tax and total Federal tax burden). Surely the player's agent works up the tax figures for presentation to the player. I guess Texas wasn't his "Dream School" after all. Hook 'Em! -
I thought Tech had a deal with Bud Light...

He was great! But hell the number two pitcher was solid too. Nix I think. I saw him at state 88’ (we won 2A) and 89 ( runner up) both years we were there. from old SI Article… He played 4A back then… “Peters went 13-0 as a freshman and 15-0 as a sophomore, and Brenham won the state title both years. Along with 92-mph heat he had command of three pitches: fastball, curve and changeup. "Jon was a pitcher, not a thrower,"

Interesting. I wonder if White will let her bat or was she just recruited to be a pitcher?
