Oh trust me. I get into breaks. That’s how I got a couple of good Schaefer hockey cards today. I watched some of the Bowman 26 breaks today but my luck on those is usually terrible. I’ve seen some freaking monsters pulled before. Typically I spend most of my day watching auctions and breaks on WhatNot if I’m not super busy at the office.

Well at least Bamba has a song.

Wish him all the best. He has been gone for more than a month now. I don’t understand why people kept saying well if he comes back… the money is gone. He’s a first round pick. Happy for him.

Fleer pro vision yes!! The McGwire with the flag… the strawberry with the nuclear bat. that set was awesome.

I don't know if you get into breaks, but some breakers will sell a spot for all of the paper cards when they break Bowman products.

Can someone explain to me why the Big 12 thought it would be a good idea to schedule Texas Tech and TCU on Thanksgiving? Texas tried to start that tradition with both of them. Nobody cared.

I legit think I have over 10,000 Bowman’s coming. Found an auction site that sales boxes of like 400 each and I’ve bought somewhere around 25-30 at around $10 apiece. Some boxes will have football and Topps chrome and sometimes even better stuff but if I can land a solid # of McGonigle and Griffin’s I’ll come out way ahead. And that’s just those two guys from 24 and 25. Some might have 23 or other years. Won’t know until I get them Friday. They look like this:

DeShon had one of the best seasons by a Texas DB that nobody remembers. Sad that it’s kinda been lost in the shuffle of the Strong-to-Herman transition.

I’ve nearly pulled the trigger on that a few times. Kinda went crazy buying this past week or two so gonna have to sale some of what I’ve had come in before I get more.

These are my favorites and the Horns. I’ve got more but didn’t want to overload. And like I said earlier, I’ve got a TON of Bowman 1sts coming later this week and can’t wait to see which ones.

He’ll never amount to anything. I’ll be happy to dispose of that card for you.

I’ve either got the worst Jeff Bagwell rookie card you can have, or one of the best. ‘91 Fleer is like a movie that’s so bad, it’s good!

My dad ran a shop in Georgetown when I was a kid. The junk wax boom was nice because you were never too far from a store. Collected pretty much up until I graduated high school, but did buy a LeBron rookie because I figured it would be worthwhile to have down the road. It's not a huge card, but I like that it has gone everywhere with me since 2003.

Texas wins the game if either Bert Auburn comes through or Trey Moore doesn't end Carson Beck's Georgia career on the last play of the first half.

I forgot how bad it was under Herman. And I'm scared to look back at where Charlie's teams ranked. It's been a problem for a while.

He wouldn't be staying in the draft if he didn't have that guarantee. Assuming the Mavericks keep pick No. 30, he won't get by them (and probably won't get by the Nuggets at No. 26, again, if those teams keep those picks).

I'd like Swain and Tre Johnson to pan out better than the last time Texas produced back-to-back lottery picks, which was Mo Bamba (2018) and Jaxson Hayes (2019).

Hope he can get into the 1st round
