  1. Past hour
  2. Well, we're more than likely not in the playoffs. All hands on deck looking at the portal talent. All in for '26
  3. I would imagine that is one of Missouri's cant lose players.
  4. Mostly worked out of the slot this season. Based off of the name alone, sign me up! lol
  5. James Franklin doing some recruiting work out of the gate, as expected. He will have VaTech competing in the ACC by year two. Dude will get talent to Blacksburg
  6. Need to recruit Ahmad Hardy into the portal
  7. You beat me to it 😂
  8. Like you said, Saban made the Bama fanbase spoiled with impossible expectations. If you're not winning multiple championships, they'll call for blood. Those fans won't even be happy just to competitive for the post season.
  9. Regarding the potential of an Alabama loss in the SECCG, the committee has consistently stated that teams will not be penalized from losing a CCG (as they shouldn't).
  10. 480 snaps this season, 50 of which came in the slot. Allowed 31-50 completions this year (62%). 3 PBU, 1 INT.
  11. Saw just 7 snaps after week five of the season. Six appearances on the season. Was a redshirt junior per Tennessee. 6-foot-3-inches and 315 pounds.
  12. Heard there’s a guy in Baton Rouge who’d be interested
  13. But with College BB the tournament is large enough that you can give out consolation prizes. In BB a Cinderella story is much more likely because the squads are smaller and there is less potential for injury.
  14. Tracking Portal Entrants Across the Country *** Starting an ongoing thread for portal entrants this December and January. There will be a separate thread for Texas entrants, but this should provide an idea of which talent elsewhere is going to be on the move this offseason.
  15. Daboer is the only name I've heard for Penn State that is an upgrade over James Franklin.
  16. Completely agree. People can say "hey, you should not have lost to Florida. They are not any good." 100% true. The point is: had we scheduled someone...not of Ohio State's caliber, we would be sitting at 10-2 and an absolute no-brainer for the playoffs with 2 top 5 wins and 3 top 9 wins (at the time we played them). We do not really gain anything by playing them. Let us also say we beat OSU, but things are still the same (still have losses to Florida and Georgia [I hope we beat them someday])....what have we really gained? Nothing. We are still 10-2 and still in the playoffs. JUST like we would be if we had either: not scheduled Ohio State or beaten Florida. It is tough enough as it is. I see no reason to make it tougher on ourselves. And let me add: I have ALWAYS respected (and loved) our willingness to play an elite non-conference game at the beginning of the season. So, while sure people can say: "well, just win that tough non-conference game", and its true...it is also a needless risk we do not HAVE to take to make the playoffs. Hook 'Em!
  17. Yeah, I ignored that knucklehead so I don't even see his posts.
  18. its not like he is doing this in 2A or something too. this is 6A II football lmao. If he does anything like this to desoto he should be the #1 player in the class.
  19. so the Ole Miss logic. How about no? 😂 Do you have a great Sark replacement up your sleeve? Options seem a bit scarce to me
  20. Sark isn't leaving Texas and I doubt Deboer leaves this cycle (despite how poorly I think the fit is with him at Bama). If Auburn hadn't fumbled the Iron Bowl away I think Deboer would be on the next flight out of Tuscaloosa to Penn State.
  21. Great job by Sark. I'm glad Texas is putting the threat out there to change their OOC schedule based on what the CFP committee does. College Football doesn't wanna lose those OOC elite games, otherwise the first 4-5 weeks of the season are going to be super boring and hard to market.
  22. The Alabama job is going to be a no-win situation for a while. Gene Stallings actually won a national title between Bear Bryant and Saban and it seems like a footnote in that program’s history. You‘d have to leave Alabama as the greatest coach in college football history to live up to expectations.
  23. I wouldn't
