  1. Past hour
  2. Why are they asking a federal court if they can invoke their own bylaws?
  3. Probably depends on which Judge gets this as to the outcome.
  4. When Texas Tech joined the Big 12, they agreed to abide by its rules—so it always seemed crazy to me that Cody Campbell would say you can’t punish us for that because that would be collusion. Well hell yes it is collusion, but its a collusion Tech agreed to allow happen.
  5. Translate that into English for us @CJ Vogel lol
  6. Good for the Big 12. Not sure if anything will come of it but I'm glad they are at least making an attempt.
  7. So, now the B12 gets to make its argument as to why it will be irreparably harmed if Sorsby plays.
  8. Props to the Big 12 for this!
  9. https://sports.yahoo.com/college-football/breaking-news/article/big-12-pursuing-legal-action-against-texas-tech-texas-attorney-general-over-brendan-sorsby-132244341.html The Big 12 Conference has filed a federal lawsuit against Texas Tech University and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton to prevent them from blocking sanctions against quarterback Brendan Sorsby, who was previously deemed ineligible for illegal sports wagering. The legal action seeks to uphold conference bylaws regarding athletic integrity following threats of litigation from the Texas Attorney General's office.

  11. Today
  12. I asked you cite the state constitutional basis for your claim that it's the job of the Texas AG to defend every state entity in every possible interstate legal situation. Given that I know there is no basis for the claim, I correlated it with Cliff Clavin claims.
  13. I was watching College baseball and Hockey. I probably would have fell asleep like most people if I had watched this.
  14. @Blake Munroe mentioned this in his notes yesterday, but Ethan Mendoza is expected to be in the lineup against Alabama after leaving the Georgia game with a shoulder issue.
  15. Disagree. I saw him two weeks ago. Looks totally different. He could be in that area code
  16. Texas (45-14) will send Ruger Riojas to the mound against Zane Adams and the Crimson Tide. It’s the same pitching matchup from when the two clubs met in Austin on April 18, a 3-1 series-clinching win for the Longhorns, with Riojas striking out 11 and allowing three hits in five innings and Adams working six scoreless innings for Alabama (42-20).
