Easton Royal taking another trip to Florida

Considering they have probably the best back in college football right now, it works. It works really really well. -
Pretty cool team building with a message. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/19JjECrdHc/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Easton Royal taking another trip to Florida

Florida’s scheme would allow him to put up big individual numbers. The rollout playaction scheme needs a great running game, but when the run works, the wideouts and tight ends feed. -
Would be interesting to add a third point of view to compare with - viewing parties, whether at a bar or with a group of friends as opposed to watching it by yourself at home.

So watching the Gators a lot. And looking at the offenses this year, of his top 3, Florida has the most explosive offense and is putting up points. They are the most attractive option at the moment. -
I’ve recorded and rewatched many of the games over the past 30-ish years. Many of those in person initially. Generally speaking I feel better after having rewatched the games. There has been an evolution of how I view things over that time. Live, I watch the ball. With rewatch you can see a lot more. Video has improved a great deal, rewind is better so the opportunities for clear viewing are better. I’d like to think my perspective is more rational as sometimes it takes multiple views of a play whereas players get one chance in real time.

Yeah heard he's returning to Austin also to again vs the Gators to the following weekend -
Royal tells OTF he'll be at Texas-Florida on Oct. 17 at DKR. This'll mark his second visit to Texas this season. He's also expected at Florida-South Carolina next weekend (Oct. 10). That'll mark two visits to Florida, two visits to Texas, and one to LSU. He's also expected at LSU-Texas in Baton Rouge next month.

Those old stories are a great reminder he was more than just the title and the highlight reel. Tough loss for Texas football.

LSU and South Carolina have the established recruiting pull, but Texas being in the final three still says a lot about where the program sits. -

Interesting photos, Texas is the only one without the head coach in the picture. It's annoying, but Staley has made S.Carolina a strong destination for women bball players. -
I've had the exact opposite happen too. A game can feel completely different depending on whether you're experiencing it or studying it. I didn't make the Tennessee trip, but I've had games at DKR where I walked out feeling one way and then felt completely different after watching the replay. When you're there live, you're absorbing the atmosphere, the crowd, the emotions, and the result. The overall experience can overwhelm the individual plays. In Knoxville, you weren't just watching football. You were taking in a road trip, a huge win, a packed stadium, 100,000 Tennessee fans walking out unhappy, and the satisfaction of watching Texas win on a big stage. Then you get home, turn on the replay, and suddenly you're not experiencing the game anymore. You're reviewing it. Every missed tackle, missed opportunity, bad call, and coaching decision gets put under a microscope. I think that's why some games feel better live than on TV and some feel better on TV than live. They're really two different products. One is an event. The other is film study. Personally, if I'd been sitting in Neyland watching Texas walk out with a win, I'd rather remember those 20 extra minutes soaking it all in than spend the next week getting aggravated about every little thing the broadcast exposed. 🤘
