  1. Past hour
  2. We still have quite of bit of retention to do but I’m hoping the attrition helps free up space for multiple big hitters in the portal
  3. Well. It certainly worked out for Tech and Bailey and Hunter in this case.
  4. It's a lot easier to offer up spots for one year mercenaries when they don't have any competition on the roster and can walk into starting gigs. Tech didn't have to do much, if any, retention last year and still significantly less than Texas this year. Stark difference in the programs and how they have to approach the portal.
  5. That would have been fun to see .
  6. You’re lil’ that dude Arch is THAT dude
  7. Sark was definitely a in your face QB.
  8. 7 figures if I remember correctly
  9. Solid take, Michigan not exactly the powerhouse they were, considering all the other stuff a much expected win for Texas. Good start, would be cautious with Arch for Heisman and Texas #1 to start the season, a lot of questions to be answered and a legit schedule in 2026.
  10. Post Cheezit Michigan presser… it was a bit irritating how the Michigan HC kept emphasizing how QB Underwood was just a 1st year QB while Arch Manning was a 3 year QB at Texas so of course Manning would perform better. No one corrected him. Did everyone forget that this was just Arch’s 1st year as QB1??
  11. Today
  12. @Bobby Burton @Gerry Hamilton Last cycle we were pretty in on these guys and I wonder if it ever came out how much more Tech paid than our offer to get these guys? I think few people recognized Bailey could be a stud, but we were after him pretty hard. I feel like Lee Hunter would have also been a great hit for us.
  13. I might be one of the few members here that actually saw Sark play quarterback live at BYU. I used to follow him because he went to El Camino JC as did my mom. He was a very fiery quarterback. Similar to Pavia. Fast forward to today, and he is very professional with the media, however, you just know behind closed doors he is as fiery and passionate as they come. No way were we losing to Michigan. He had our young guys ready for an alley fight.
  14. Thread full of armchair professional coaches as usual. There’s a reason sark is making these decision, So the only thing you can do is, sit back, shut up and let it unfold.
  15. He really needs to focus on the guys catching the ball rather than dropping it. Don’t know what he was thinking.
  16. Shipley wasn’t doing kickoffs late the season.
  17. It’s Phil Knight’s new Nike prototype
  18. Breaking news @Gerry Hamilton has entered the portal Phil knight and I offered him a bag
  19. Sounds like another negative data point for Banks being the ST coach. No reason for that change when Shipley was doing just fine on kickoffs.
  20. @Bobby Burton We really do need a wider selection of emoji on here - 🙄😬👀💯🤔🤥🤬🤡 etc - in the meantime its called the ignore feature... 🤘
  21. Personally, I don't get this extension for Jackson. Sark has been relentless to change on the defensive side, but all year our receivers struggle to catch, there hasn't been a star receiver, and yet sark decides to give the position coach an extension? The offense is a huge part of the problem, especially at receiver. I've been a huge fan and defender of Sarks, but this one doesn't make sense.
