I still don't know how that Duke team didn't win it all -

I believe if we win out we’re in, so here’s what I think helps us if we lose another game. It’s still early to know exactly who to root for, but in general: 1. Upsets. Unranked or barely ranked teams beating top 10 teams is generally good 2. Hope Florida takes two more losses but doesn’t totally go in the tank. Want to avoid finishing with the same record as them because of the head to head, but don’t let them lose enough for it to become a “bad loss” like last year. 3. Speaking of going in the tank, Oklahoma losing out would be bad for the same reason. I’m never going to root for OU so I’ll leave it at that. 4. As others have said, root against ND. Hope Miami wins big and ideally they take another loss. 5. Ohio State winning helps the resume but could be tough without Sayin. If they lose, hope they lose at least twice. If we’re both 9-3 we have head to head. 6. I’m inclined to root for LSU over Alabama. If we lose to LSU we should come out ahead of bama in a resume competition I’m not even going into the Big 12 because…blech

10.38-second personal best in the 100-meter dash and a 4.34-second 40-yard dash. Rumors that senior transfer A.J. Swann is strongly being considered to start. -

We beat a top 10 team and the bedwetters remain in full force. -
Having made it through this season, winning all of the games that were 50/50ish going into the season. It sure would have been nice to beat terrible OU and Florida with a backup QB. Not shocking to anyone that Florida was able to score, but should not be shut down on offense like that against them. Because of those two inexcusable losses, the team now has to fight against a true trap game scenario with Miss. St. and/or Missouri. LSU and A&M you would think the team should be able to get up for. Miss. St. without Taylor seems very much like a team that could get overlooked, can't do it. Missouri isn't gonna excite anyone except Wingo, but they can absolutely beat you (if you help them, don't see it without us helping them). 6 weeks is a long time to keep your intensity at a max, especially after getting the big top 10 win last weekend. 10 straight weeks of playoff football basically for this team, 1-0, have to stay fired up.

Claimed national titles* 1914 - Dave Allerdice 1941 - Dana Bible 1968 - DKR 1977 - Fred Akers 1981 - Fred Akers That would be 3 additional coaches 1983, why did we even try to field that punt vs Georgia 😭 Also kind of shows you how much we've underachieved as a program.

Last week I asked which underdog would win outright. Answer: none of them. All six favorites won, and five of the six covered. The only one that didn't was Alabama, who beat A&M by 11 as a 14.5-point favorite. I definitely didn't see that one coming, and it felt like A&M might be able to pull off the impossible until the 4th quarter. The crowd had it backwards in two spots: 69% took Ole Miss +3.5 and Texas won by 7, and 76% took Tennessee +2.5 and South Carolina won by 3. So much for my hunches, too, with both Texas and South Carolina covering. Congrats to @Ryan Clement, who Holds the Mayo after going 5-1 in Week 8. Nobody else got past 4-2. Week 9 is open. Five SEC games against the spread, best record Holds the Mayo, ties go to whoever picked first: Auburn at Ole Miss (-13.5), 11:45 AM CT Florida vs Georgia (-10.5), 2:30 PM CT South Carolina at Oklahoma (-5.5), 3:15 PM CT Mississippi State at Texas (-21.5), 6:30 PM CT Missouri (-10.5) at Arkansas, 6:45 PM CT The pick for each game locks at its own kickoff, and you can change your picks any time between now and then without losing your place in line. Two weeks ago the underdogs ran wild and last week the favorites swept. So which is it this week? Texas laying 21.5 after a one-score game with Ole Miss feels like a lot to me, but with Super Kamario likely out I think it's possible, especially if Texas continues to find its groove on offense. Personally I think South Carolina will win outright against OU, and I will definitely be hate watching that one. Let's make it two in a row Saturday night. stance.fm/mayo Hook 'em! 🤘

The true issue is, There is something about the offense Sark doesn’t trust. What seems to happen is When the offense puts together drives it keeps the defense fresh. When the defense is fresh we don’t have to go as far down the depth chart and the front end defenders seem to play better. Of course the 3 and outs start and the defense seems tired. At some point Sark has to go with his BEST run blocking line, call less deep shots and take what the defense gives him.. that formula will have us playing for a while. If Arch is the problem then take the problem out as the center piece of the game plan. Use and rotate backs behind your best run blocking line
