  1. Past hour
  2. Worse than 0-2 is the fact that we also gave up multiple onsides to Vandy in recent years and then also UGA...
  3. Me thinks St Louis receiver. Bobby hinted at it.
  4. We’re all fans for a reason, but some of you gotta learn to step away from the sites, pregame videos, film breakdowns, etc. on Texas football or any media outlet on a daily basis. Put your phones down and give yourself a little peace for a day or two. Be passionate but don’t lose your peace trying to breakdown every little thing that doesn’t go right. Control your space my fellow longhorns. Saturday may have similar problems as the weeks prior but they won and in 2026 that’s not a guarantee. Hookem everybody and i hope the team can make less mistakes this week!
  5. Can't give credit for the blocked field goal. The player made the play by doing something they normally don't, confirmed by Hero Kanu.
  6. Add in the whiff by Parker Livingstone on an onside kick against Vandy last season, and we are 0-3 in actually recovering the last 3 onside kicks we’ve faced. Fortunately, Vandy players recovered the ball out of bounds.
  7. Yann Kamagate watched that scrimmage against St. John’s yesterday and said I could start at the 5 today.
  8. I’ve been a fan since the Strong era, I’ve seen misery. Until we get there again I’m going to have fun. No need to be a chud every game, at the end of the day football is a W or L sport and we got a dub against a top 10 team who has a top 3 QB in cfb while down most of our good players. Football is only a Joyless sport if you have nothing else better to do or if you lost money on a parlay🤘 We all know the recurring problems too, we’re past the point of making whole threads on it. The mods already have them set up and that’s what we have game day threads for. Not everyone wants to nit pick every little thing. It’s a terrible way of viewing things.
  9. I get it a lot of people think coaches should be fired. Both onside kicks (one which was illegal vs Tenn) were right in the players (WR) hands. Players have to catch the ball. Coaches can put players in position, but the player has to make the play. Having said that, a lot of an onside kick is luck (how is ball spinning, bounce, etc). The punt run is inexcusable. if we are going to point out the bad and blame coaches what about the blocked fg? If Ole Miss makes that kick, it’s a whole different ball game over the last 3 minutes, as Ole Miss would only be down by 7 at that point.
  10. BTW, I'm willing to bet large sums of $$ that barring a serious injury, any year Arch decides to declare himself for the NFL draft, he will be a first round pick, Not saying his production in Austin warrants this selection, but the raw talent alone will get him there. Dillon Mitchell in basketball is a comp, a bad comp, but still a comp. He was a useless player for us/Cincy/St Johns, but his raw athletic talent got him drafted, and he made the Celtics. Imagine if he had the family pedigree?
  11. Because of our propensity to point out areas where we continue to shoot ourselves in the face week in and out? BTW, I would venture to guess that there's a faction, perhaps even a large faction of fans here where where Texas football is for the most part a joyless experience. It's much better now that we're in the SEC, but still largely an exercise between pain and temporary relief between the agony of defeat. Maybe you'll get there one day, maybe not. Again, OP was only pointing out team's recurring problems on a MESSAGE BOARD. He didn't show up to your house demanding beers and bbq while unloading this thoughts in your living room.
  12. I loved what I saw from Cojoe in the run game along with Michael Terry. I am very excited to see Terry continue to grow and develop at the position. I think he needs to be a lot more involved going forward. Dominate the run game with all the backs and Arch. Then you can throw from there.
  13. I asked Grok this question: "In 2026, what is the percentage of success in kicking an onside kick in college football?" The answer is "18 percent". Texas is currently 0-2 in recovering onside kicks this year. Shocking stat. No excuse for this Hook'em
  14. This is why people call us a miserable fanbase lmao
  15. That’s all you bro, you’re the one finding a way to complain
  16. I dont see any cynicism in OP's post. Those were fact based observations. He wasn't calling out random "what if" faults like, what if Spectic started missing PATs? No, we are among the most penalized teams in college football.
  17. im No coach… and i Love Arch! Lingering ideas that He might go undrafted… Ewers was s 6th rnd pick! ive been Wrong every game this season!
  18. So why be here? Just google the score 4 hours after kickoff and see who won.
  19. Texas already has two highly rated tight end commitments in the 2027 recruiting cycle, but Ahmad Hudson pointed out he is openly frustrated with LSU's lack of communication.
  20. But we have to accept they'll never grade SOS properly. So I agree with you somewhat, but at the same time, I'd rather Texas have a shot last year vs getting screwed by whoever is on the committee and/or media narratives. Let it play out on the field.
  21. Look you could either be miserable and think cynical or just be happy that we still even have a chance rn. Yes these are issues but guess what we all know it already, it is what it is atp. Idc if you win a game 3-0 a win is a mf win. And if you lose oh well you lost. We can either keep crying and whining or move onto the next game, this team is who they are, deal with it. HOOKEM🤘
  22. arch could barely complete a pass beyond the LOS against florida. im not saying he was great, but it shouldnt be controversial that he played better against ole miss
  23. Today
  24. Username does not check out.
  25. Biles was outstanding against Ole Miss. He was only credited with four tackles, but he had a tackle for loss, an interception, two PBUs and four hurries.

  26. With the downhill ability of MT3, I would really like to see some 21 personnel with MT3/Leek and whoever the heck shows the most ability as the run blocking TE (liked seeing Masunas get the ball some but man those holds were tough). That would disguise the type of run you are setting up, Thunder or Lightning?
