  1. Past hour
  2. I have a little different take. I do not think he was all bad. He tried to inject a little bit of sizzle in a conference that was (and is) mired in never-never land (never good enough to hunt with the big dogs, but never crumby enough to be a MAC clone). Let's face it. If you have a crappy piece of meat, no matter how you cook it...........it tastes terrible. I think he didn't understand how difficult dealing with University Presidents, AD's, etc really could be. It gives new meaning to the phrase "hearding cats". The Tech thing probably just pushed him over the edge. Speaking from experience, sometimes a divorce is best for all parties.
  3. He’s ready and rested
  4. Thankfully, he found it in time against Ole Miss.
  5. Texas eventually got CDC as a result of the Patterson debacle. The Big 12 is still the Big 12.
  6. And then retreats back to what was originally working in the fourth quarter. Sometimes too late.
  7. Good stuff, @JustinOTF. This is proof that Sark should continue to lean into the quick game. Not just screens. I’m talking slants, glances, stops, sticks, etc. It’s also easier to protect when you’re in favorable to-go distances on third down and the defense can’t get in a track stance and hunt the quarterback.
  8. Who was worse? Steve Patterson as an AD for Texas or Yormark as the Big 12 Commissioner?
  9. @PaytonOTF with some numbers to back up up what @Rod Babers said about Sark in Year 1: Sark is a master at game-planning and preparation, but he struggles and often loses the battle of in-game adjustments.
  10. He’s still got his fastball. Just ask Trinidad Chambliss.
  11. I won’t shed a tear for Yormark or the Hateful 8. They wanted this. They’re reaping what they sowed.
  12. Sports doesn't want him is a better way to put it I would think.
  13. He's the one that sank it. But we needed to leave the B12 even if he was never there to sink it. HOOKEM...oh, and ftmfr
  14. And now Cody has no use for him.
  15. He definitely has seemed to have mellowed out with age because we’ve yet to see ANYBODY get their ass chewed out on the sideline for something
  16. @Bobby Burton let's get him on coffee & football
  17. Writing was on the wall after 15 of 16 school presidents had to remind him that he worked for them - not Tech and Campbell - during the Sorsby debacle. No destination was announced, and they negotiated an “elegant exit.”
  18. He is leaving for job that is outside of sports. So it was so bad he doesn’t want any sports related job.
  19. I got a feeling Cody Campbell is happy.
  20. Question, should MSSt take every kick-off onside? If you need a high variance strategy, doesn't this seem like the first place to look?
  21. I was ecstatic when I saw he was coming back, but was slightly worried the hire would be another Akina situation. Former Longhorn great and fan favorite who is past his prime. I was so wrong. Coach Muschamp has the same juice he did in 2008 and just as dominant.
  22. Really a monstrous decision
  23. Today
  24. I know his next move: Brett Yormark - Vice President of Marketing for Double Eagle Energy Holdings
