  1. Past hour
  2. How dare you. This is a Vonlane outfit here.
  3. Now that's just ridiculous -- Gerry could never drive to Thailand.
  4. I see you’re speeding and I’ll raise you felony drug charges. Your move
  5. Bama seems to be the georgia of college basketball
  6. Today
  7. It’s really not that hard to play college basketball and go to school. Just unbelievable stupid and unfortunately not shocking.
  8. I’m in as Gerry’s corndog dealer on the ladies side and Duke’s Mayo on the men’s side.
  9. He'll probably get some type of probation or other deal that no normal person would receive, but will likely keep him out of the tournament either way. Reminds me of Romance Taylor 20 years ago, just so stupid to potentially throw away your entire career over an illegal side hustle (ESPECIALLY in the NIL era). I can understand personal consumption but this clearly isn't that.
  10. Failure to affix a tax stamp will get ya everytime...
  11. This morning on OTF Coach Vic said (paraphrasing) the World is mostly a beautiful place, but sometimes it rears its' ugly head. There's all these pieces of memorabilia that honor the Longhorns greats and bring happiness to the Texas fans who own and hold them. As the Coach said, "sometimes"... Well, I had a high school coach who used to tell his teams "Boys, you have to learn to take the good along with the bad." I got a game-worn Texas football helmet at one of the first "Yard Sales" held along with the Spring football game in the 1980s and got the number stickers from the Rooster Andrews store to add my high school #30 to the back of the Longhorn helmet. At Spring Games, Longhorn Foundation events and Texas Exes fundraisers, I got autographs on the helmet. Coaches included Darrell Royal and each head coach through Mack Brown, and players included Earl, Ricky and a few others. Unfortunately, the helmet, a football autographed by a dozen prominent Texas players, several autographed player photos and a wristwatch commemorating the National Championship victory over USC...all were stolen along with a S&W.38 cal silver plated revolver (locked in a gun safe box) that was given to me by my late father in 1988, the final Texas-OU game we attended together before he died ( last game of 35 OU games together). The items were stolen by movers somewhere along the way in an interstate relocation. I moved with job transfers several times before without any problems or losses. I note this not seeking sympathy from my fellow Longhorns, but to remind everyone to keep close watch on things that are special to you. It's sad that we can't live trustingly, but I learned that lesson several years ago. As Ronald Reagan said regarding international relations, "Trust But Verify." Hook 'Em!
  12. Love that! Happy for y’all Blake!
  13. True...but some folks would not have put in the effort AFTER the medical care. Colt DID. He didn't allow a bad "break" rule him entirely. He took the Longhorns by the horns. I know a bit about recovery. I had a massive stroke. Couldn't move, eat, drink, or anything else at one point. But I never gave up. I love those nurses who were so great. No one meeting me for the first time now would guess that I ever had a stroke. The doctors are mystified. They said I would die. Yet 4 years and 4 mos later here I am on OTF! Congratulations to Colt on keeping his head on straight and taking on recovery like the champion he is. I highly suspect that he has only just begun. As a result better things are ahead! HOOKEM
  14. I had to change where I had them after the news this morning 😭
  15. First the Brandon Miller "situation" a few years ago Now Aden Holloway https://sports.yahoo.com/mens-college-basketball/breaking-news/article/alabamas-aden-holloway-arrested-after-authorities-allegedly-found-over-a-pound-of-marijuana-at-residence-153639318.html
  16. Added the women’s bracket challenge along with prizes! We may add more prizes, so stay tuned!
  17. A ruptured spleen is a definite limit on physical activity and even life itself. Colt overcame a lot but without great life flights and expert medical care, he likely would not have any chance at a recovery.
  18. I don’t have any signed jerseys or cards, but I finally found a 1963 National Championship booklet that I got signed by Coach Royal and Duke Carlisle. This was from the 1964 Athens, Texas football banquet where they honored Duke and Coach Royal was the guest speaker. Most of my stuff from the 60’s and 70’s burned in my parents house in the late 70’s, but somehow this survived. The Longhorn’s 1st National Championship and I also attended the Cotton Bowl.
  19. @Gerry Hamilton might after he gets back from Thailand
  20. Awesome! Congrats, Colt! Thanks for the update, Blake.
  21. Someone should get it, buy a longhorn and an aggy poop bucket, and drive it to each espn game day like the Washington State guys.
  22. I'm sure his injury last season did not help. Hill's instincts are underrated. Despite the combine, I pinged him as the #2 LB behind Reese and essentially tied with Styles. IF he slips to RD 2, some team is getting a stupid good deal. I'm not sure the Broncos let him get to RD 2 if he's available at 30.
  23. Bobby’s gonna buy this and use it to haul OTF OGs to the Ohio state tailgate.
