You know what @Gerry Hamilton? Punks like you remind of protestors hazing my father serving three tours in Vitetnam from 1966-1972. Praising pansies like Curry. Sipping whine and thinking no defense losers like Curry could hang with shutdown defenders like Kobe. Do you really think Curry 2017 could hang with 2001 Kobe?

This discussion should also consider the three man backfields during the wishbone years. Wooster, Bertleson and I am not certain but it may have been Koy. Also important to remember that for his freshman season, Earl Campbell started out at fullback but I do not remember the two halfbacks.

I was in attendance for Leaks game in Dallas against SMU. It was a blowout and Leaks had been pulled. When coach Royal learned that he was close to 300 yards in the game he put him in for one final play. On that final play for Leaks, he broke it up the middle and scored from 50 yards out.
