Hey everyone, I’m trying to pull something together for Friday and Saturday for those of us headed to Lexington. On Friday, I want to just do a happy hour somewhere in Lexington. From like 4-7 somewhere in town. On Saturday, I want to try to get somewhere that we can watch games until 4 or so since we won’t be hosting an official tailgate at this time. I’m making some phone calls and will let everyone know what I’m able to come up with. I’m awaiting answers on a pair of places. Thanks, Bobby

Texas hit 0.000 in the first set - thats 7 kills to 7 errors in 31 attacks. The service errors on top of that led to the lost set. Much more efficient in the 2nd and 3rd sets, hitting 0.385 and 0.366. Defense made all the difference overall, holding Bama to hit 0.148 overall. Service errors were too numerous today. You gotta serve aggressively but balanced enough that you don't give up too many free points.

Whoever told you that doesn't understand how recruiting actually works. Texas doesn't ever pass on elite players at corner. They may miss on them, but they don't pass on them to wait for the next crop.

I doubt Texas is that concerned with 2027 prospects rn. Besides winning on the field, they're probably more focused on closing the 2026 class strong before turning their attention to the 2027 cycle, which is a year and a half away from signing day.

Good luck. Williams-Brice is not an easy place to play...then they have Ole Miss, Tenn., Bama, Mizzou, and LSU. There's a real possibility they could lose out. I don't see BV surviving this season unless he pulls off a miracle or Nagy doesn't want to fight a vicious coaching change cycle. OU competing with PSU, UCLA, and potentially Florida isn't ideal.

It might cause a disturbance in the Force.
