Arch’s adjusted completion percentage- 2024 - 76.5%; 2025 - 73%; 2026 - 75.6%. Mensah’s. 2024 - 75.7%; 2025 - 76.2%; 2026 - 92.2%. Mensah 2026 is extraordinary. We will see how that plays out.

On the conferences debate: - End of the day doesn’t move the needle in any direction for anyone, I just like the debate because it’s fun to watch people meltdown over it. - SEC is the most entertaining conference by a wide margin. At least a game or two each window that’s a great watch. Competitive balance and wide-spread talent across the league. - SEC records will lie this year. Good teams will have worse records. - National media will continue to tell us that the B10 (4-9 against the rest of p4) is the better conference but there are only like 6 games all year that are a fun competitive game with top talent. the top three teams will stand alone at the top again. Records will say they are the best. - In every other sport and in my opinion, the conference that has the most competitive teams should be considered the best. That’s the SEC. The record will show that the league is worse because it’s going to canabalize itself like crazy. - Arkansas and Vandy are the only bottom dwellers in the SEC other than them, any team can beat any team in the SEC on the right night (Texas A&M and Oklahoma are fighting to stay out the basement) - Ideal for balance but terrible for the sport, b10 drops the bottom 5 teams and adds more competitive programs. ND and Miami in the b10 would make them the best conference by a MILE!! Other Week 3 take aways: - There are no elite teams. There are elite players. There are elite position groups and offenses/defenses but there a no elite top to bottom teams. - Notre Dame, Miami, Indiana and Georgia are the only teams left that can prove me wrong on that account but not enough info - Texas is a top 15 team, not a top 5 team until they find consistency on offense. Arch is back in a mental slump and needs to shake it off. I think he will. But I hope it doesn’t take a loss to Tennessee or OU to happen. - Ole Miss is a top 5 team because of Chambliss alone. LSU is not as scary as I thought. Mississippi State is scarier than OU and A&M right now.

I tend to think UTSA is an anomoly. Arch was awesome down the stretch against tOSU, continuing on from what he was at the end of last year. The meep meep's caught Texas in one of the all-time sandwich spots (after tOSU, before @ Tennessee) and it's very clear that everyone came out a bit sleepy and just happy to move it on. I expect a big bounce back against the Vols, who have yet to see a test like the one they'll get on Saturday

Arch struggles with proper mechanics and accuracy at times. Both will get better. And yes, he could embrace the idea of getting down quicker instead of picking up the extra 3 yards. He’s a gamer. He’s going to be more than ok when the pressure is on. And I wouldn’t take any other QB in the country over him. We have a hell of schedule remaining. Is anyone seriously worried about the young man? I’m not. Hook ‘em! And fu*k ‘em, Arch!

I am not a huge fan of QB designed running plays as a whole, but to open up the game a bit we Sark should consider it. I am certain that Sark was on the USC sideline during the 2006 Rose Bowl. He should know.

I don’t believe Lacy came back. From what I recall, he was banged up versus Louisville too.

My brother was on that team. Keep in mind Lawerence was a local hero to us boys who grew up in Seguin, so having the chance to be on the field with on of your heroes was a great opportunity. He also go to share the field with Terry Orr, who he had played against when we lived in Midland.

Been wondering if we don't need to put in some zone read plays to improve running game. He has ability to run it.

Arch is a Manning. I get that. He is not Peyton of Eli, who were pocket passers. Arch's strength is his mobility. His game is more like his grandfather, Archie Manning. Mack Brown tried to make Vince Young a pocket passer, but eventually he had to let "Vince be Vince". Several times this year, Arch has had to make yards using his feet. His feet are a weapon we are not fully utilizing. From my seats, I have seen times where Arch had open field (20+yards) and chose to throw it...painfully throw it when he tries to throw it near the LOS. I know I am not the only one seeing this. Hopefully Sark will "Let Arch be Arch" the rest of the season Hook'em
