  1. Past hour
  2. No one from Texas follows yet
  3. Saving a year. He was a true senior.
  4. FWIW, he played 37 snaps at RG as a true freshman at ULM against Texas in 2022. He was an opening-game starter as a true freshman.
  5. Is this to gain another year (more money) from a P4 team?
  6. Winning is hard
  7. He's played in four games and has been away from the Texas State team for a couple of weeks.
  8. one of the highest graded pass blockers
  9. Trying to think of fun stuff to do not involving having a cold snack lol! I'd say go check out Zilker w/ Christmas lights up, wander around campus. Go to Posse East for a burger by campus. Pool Burger right on Lake Austin Blvd during the day. Definitely shop at the Coop and buy something cool. Usually have some exclusive merch. Wander around the tailgates and if your Dad is going, swing by the alumni center pregame.
  10. Correct. Trace Armstrong (who represented Tom Herman) is Freeman's agent.
  11. he's just down the street
  12. I love Wisner and Baxter but Baxter will never be what he used to be poor guy cause I loved him but that was a serious injury, Wisner has the heart and will to but he isn’t big enough we need a downhill running back period it has screwed us for the last 2 years
  13. 1. OL (At least two interior) 2. RB 3. DB/S 4. WR We're shelling out some serious dough on the guys sitting on the bench. The position is heavily dependent on Pass Blocking and QB play which this season has left a lot to be desired. Deandre Moore was hoping to go pro, no production to do so IMO, Wingo will either portal or return. Livingstone and Mosley are underclassmen. Then we have Lockett, McCutcheon, Ffrench all of whom should press for PT. OL needs to be tuned up on the interior. Tackles are fine. Full stop, the offense goes where it goes.
  14. Good Post— and that’s actually why I’m less panicked about the interior than some folks. Brooks has been cross trained at both guard and tackle, and everyone who’s watched him knows his ceiling is higher inside. He’s got the frame and the power for guard and moving him there stabilizes at least one spot immediately. When you line it up that way, the OL picture looks a lot more functional: LG: Brooks (best natural fit; cross-training pays off here) 😄 Robertson / Cruz (and yes, Cruz is probably a long-term center, not a guard) RG: Kibble (talent is there — consistency just needs to show up) Portal Guard to round it out If Neto gives you anything, that’s gravy. If Cojoe takes a leap at RT, that’s even more cushion. So yeah, Texas needs help at guard — but not because the cupboard is empty. It’s because guys like Brooks have been playing out of position out of necessity. Put him where he belongs, let Cruz grow at center, and add one veteran guard… and suddenly the “gulp” turns into “actually, this can work.”
  15. Today
  16. Definitely agree about baxter. This has become a business now and he’s not holding up the end of his deal. Your best ability is your availability.
  17. Freeman also has a fast pass to the playoffs every year. I dont see why he would leave that 😅
  18. 1. WR (all we have are JAGS) 2. RB 3. OG 4. DB 5. OG
  19. Jimmy Sexton will be working hard to get one of his guys the job. Freeman does not use Sexton as his agent
  20. I'm not saying the original report was true, but agents take calls ALL the time. Coaches always listen even if they have no intention of leaving. Sark loves college football. That is no secret. However, for the reasons you mention, it would be no surprise needing a break from the current college football grind. If I'm an NFL owner, I'm hammering home the life balance for his young family. The current college sports landscape is incredibly time-consuming and stressful. Even more so when you're the head coach at a large-brand, blue blood program like Texas. With the injection of NIL, the expectations are higher now. IF Sark left (a big if), I could see him returning to college later on when the landscape has settled down with regulation and his baby is older.
  21. Chicken S**t Bingo at Ginnys Longhorn Saloon on Burnet Rd. Every Sunday evening. Google it. It's like a backyard party with a good band. As a first timer you definitely need to allocate as much time as you can for Bevo Blvd. pre-game.
  22. Being realistic on this list, we need some major attrition. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if CJ Baxter is hampered by injuries, he needs to renegotiate his NIL to be more of a team player or he'll have to walk. We need to see a heavy rotation of Simon, Copper, Wisner (3rd Down), and an actual bruiser running back. Caden Durham is not in the same vein as say a guy like Jaquinden Jackson from last year's hogs' team. We had a solid run defense last year and he averaged 5.1 YPC on us.
