Cody doesn’t want LSU in the BigXII. They’d immediately win every year.
-
OU has added multiple former NFL guys this week, yes - but they ran every one of them through the SEC office and got them certified. LSU didn’t. LSU certified ineligible players, got told “no,” ignored it, and hid behind a judge. OU followed the process. LSU tried to override the conference. I’m not trying to argue with you, but just trying to lay out why the league sees these as two totally different situations. And i may be wrong.
-
But our offer is just as good.
-
Well just me but I know what we said about Hutson. And following the NCAA and SEC guidelines etc. But I would politely tell him thanks and good luck. Give some NIL for his school and move on. I realize the difference, but to me not worth it. And yeah OU might need to rethink as well. SEC may not be playing this time😂

Ou has added several in the last few days.

OU added former NFL guys after joining the SEC - and the SEC approved them. LSU added theirs, got told “ineligible,” ignored it, and ran to a judge. OU followed the rules. LSU tried to overrule the conference. That’s the difference.

NIL trumps everything.

Me either but at least the SEC is appearing to step to the plate and let LSU know that you can't do whatever the hell you want to whenever you want to.
-
Problem with that is Big 12 already said pretty strongly no pro players I think Lane might be turning toxic. Who wants the headache
-
I think Lane will continue to push the envelope and go more and more unless something comes down hard and says ENOUGH. Lane is a child
-
Non-zero odds Brett Yormark has already made a call to LSU brass
-
I don’t see this happening
-
I would be shocked if they did but hell who knows what all else they know Lane and LSU have done.
-
I think this is a bad move unless they actually do something. Doing nothing would just embolden LSU in my opinion.
-
I don’t think they should kick LSU out, but I think this is more about asserting that they CAN if needed. Lane would be better off being a little less Lane, but they did look like a great team Saturday.
-
Can't imagine this is sitting well with the Royal camp. Lane trying to get pro players to replace his younger players who've been there.
-
North Carolina and Virginia and call it a day Second choices only, Clemson, FSU, Miami, Georgia Tech

acholloman started following Blake Munroe
-
I vote Tulane.

One of the issues with PFF is that it’s too cut and dried, which makes sense because they have so much data to process it doesn’t leave time for nuance. Defensive players really get dinged for missed tackles, but there were a couple of plays where Biles technically missed the tackle and played his assignment correctly. That led to other guys being in a position to clean it up.

What NFL players did OU add?
-
Lane might need to quit running his mouth at halftime about how much better we would be with pro players. I’m sure the SEC brass doesn’t like to get shown up like that by one of the members on a national telecast
-
I'm sure a strongly worded meeting agenda will fix it

LSU Expelled from the SEC?
Armando Gutierrez replied to QuanCosbysBurner's topic in On Texas Football Forum
It won't, but the league is sending a message. I love it.
