  1. Past hour
  2. Largely agree with this. It's the unfortunate truth. The QB again didn't protect the football and we are still a clown car of penalties and special teams gaffs. Takes a special team to blow multiple double digit leads several weeks in a row.
  3. By the way, I don't suspect the self-inflicted wounds to cease. That's who this team is and that's who this staff has allowed them to be.
  4. The penalties drive me nuts but any win is a "good" win for the rest of the year. Need to steal one in Baton Rouge!
  5. I would settle for less than 100 YARDS of penalties. Or not giving up 3 consecutive onside kicks, or not having a fake punt ran effectively, or less than 2 turnovers from the QB. In no way is this a crazy thing to criticize, good lord. Acting like I'm asking for perfection when it's really only asking for mediocracy in the same areas that have prevented you from being successful for multiple consecutive seasons.
  6. THey have a very good defense. The quarterback is atrocious.
  7. Texas defeated the No. 7 team in the country on Saturday night without – RB1 Hollywood Smothers RB3 Derrek Cooper WR1 Cam Coleman LT1 Trevor Goosby EDGE1 Colin Simmons EDGE4 Richard Wesley S2 Kobe Black For those keeping track at home, that is... 3 projected first round picks, one being the best defensive player in the country. 2 five-star freshmen contributors An All-ACC RB in 2025. A 6-game starter at safety. .... Not to mention 14 penalties and three turnovers. ... But that is a heck of a win given snaps on the sidelines and the (continued and repeated) self-inflicted wounds.
  8. You wouldn't have wanted to see Texas get a shot at the playoff last year in a year where Miami got hot and nearly ran the table after barely squeaking in?
  9. Sark is a great OC/play caller, a genius even. The problem is he's trying to prepare Arch for the NFL more than he's trying to leverage the talent he has on this team to win games in Austin. It's like asking Albert Einstein to teach uber gifted high school kids physics. This is why Arch is not taking the easy throws and we're not seeing as many designed runs, because those aren't typical NFL QB plays. I don't know Sark, nor do I know the Mannings, but I can assess a situation based on logic and plausible visual evidence. Now that we've lost Goolsby, our best pass pro LT, we're going to have to run Arch more, but will he?
  10. Debating the pros of a 24 team playoff is a bit like debating the pros of getting herpes.
  11. You're right. Until Texas wins by 30+ every week and exceeds the Saban era at Alabama, there's no reason to ever be happy or optimistic.
  12. I don't doubt they are playoff worthy but they simply haven't been tested in the same way. I think the 24 team playoff lets it play out on the field vs relying on a committee which is a positive in a sport with vast scheduling differences.
  13. I can live with that!
  14. @Blake Munroe care to tell him about the wonderful pot sponsorship you got? 😂😂
  15. Soundly stated though I do think Indiana is a very good team.
  16. Is this a clever advertisement for a new cannabis product?
  17. The OP is not wrong. And bashing him for not enjoying the win is very predictable and just as useless. There’s nothing anyone on this site can do to fix either issue.
  18. Clickbait in progress.
  19. Xavier MuHimmad come on down!
  20. When will it be annouce?
  21. Yup. Plus a 10-2 Notre Dame team should not get in if there only “good” wins out to Wisconsin and SMU
  22. This year you will see several 9-3 teams with much better resumes miss out on the playoffs. Indiana will be 11-1 with 0 ranked wins UCLA will be 12-0 with a backup QB with 1 "ranked" win over Oregon 17-15 In a 12 team playoff, weak schedules matter too much for how the committee ranks teams. In my opinion, a 9-3 Texas or 9-3 LSU should be in over an 11-1 Indiana if you compare the resumes honestly. In a 24 team playoff, you get to see that actually play out on the field vs leaving it to a committee.
