  2. If Texas is going to the portal for offensive line, who do we currently have that has the ability to be a starter next year? I haven't heard any names mentioned other than going to the portal?
  3. CBSSports' Matt Zenitz is reporting that Lane Kiffin will retain edge rushers coach Kevin Peoples. Why is this significant? There were whispers that LSU would target, or at least have communications with LaAllen Clark for their edge position. Clark is a native of Baton Rouge. Clark was signed last year and just helped the Texas Longhorns pass rushers put up major numbers in 2025. Texas, as a defense, currently ranks 3rd in the country with 38.0 sacks this season.

  4. He may not be quite prepared for the pressure. Really, he can’t win no matter what he does. i do not see the justification for having Ole Miss in front of the Aggies. That could be incredibly significant in that one gets the 11 seed the other gets the 10. I’m not completely certain that Oregon deserves it either. But pushing the Aggies down to 7 and Vandy at 14 diminishes those two wins slightly. There is bad information out there. Saban just said Miami kicked Notre dames ass. Kicked the game winner with 1 minute left. They outgained them by 25 yards. Miami got two turnovers in scoring position. They got 1 first down and 3 points. For a game at home, that’s not ass kicking. But the world views it as such now.
  5. How would James Madison or Tulane fare against Florida in the swamp in a night game?
  6. He’s supposed to be playing linebacker at tech?
  7. It’s a defeatists mentality to lay down and accept this committee nonsense. Glad the team didnt have this same mentality when the chips were down and they were being challenged. Wasn’t a perfect season but they showed grit
  8. Could be wrong, but sort of sounds like he misspoke. Given he was comparing it to the Alabama game. Could be wrong, and if so: wow.
  9. Today
  10. Texas led Vandy for 59:45 of the game. For 55 minutes they couldn’t even tie the game. They only had 4 snaps in the entire game to tie it up. If they call the interference on the overturned TD, there’s a good chance we win by 2-3 scores.
  11. Get the decisions out of the Boardroom and get it decided on the field. I like Joel Klatt’s 14 team model!
  12. Why would you "hope" that he, or anyone else would fail?
  13. Immediately thought of Amaree Thomas
  14. 75-33 point victory last night. Probably the weakest opponent we faced all year. We are going for the teams 20th consecutive sweet 16 appearance. We need every team to get to this level of consistency!
  15. They were saying the same about Campbell a few years ago.
  16. Probably right and if that’s the case, lots of respect for coaches who are committed to build for longterm rather than constantly chasing the $$.
  17. This is an excellent argument for style points which the committee has said they don’t regard. Texas was up big and took their foot off the gas. If instead, Texas ran up the score that would look better?! Also, nice job of cherry-picking games to fit your narrative. He picks the Vandy game but ignores the Texas and bama games against ou which is definitely tilted in Texas favor.
  18. Makes me wonder how many misses occurred first.
  19. I am sure Oregon needs him. 😆
  20. I would like to see a formal statement by Texas demanding correction and bringing it to the attention of the committee.
  21. He was explicitly talking about CFP rankings. CFP rankings don’t exist until November. Florida was ranked in the AP poll at one point too. The committee meets for the first time in October to talk about the first 8 games and DOESN’T rank teams until November.
