SEC honors will come her way but she’s also going to be a name to watch for national honors. -
I’m not looking at hill in this circumstance, I’m looking at big on big and the push their OL gets vs ours. If you look close enough you see one of our DT get driven back 3-4 yards into the endzone.

Kyle Flood has got to go

Are you disagreeing that Hill should have made the play? And are you disagreeing that any top flight D1 school if allocating bodies in the manner OSU did on that sneak would stop it? Do we need to be better? No doubt, but this season has had 3 practices and OSU. The Oline was not great versus OSU, but they showed some life. Our playcalling did not give us a chance because Sark played in to their numbers advantage. Arch has scored rather easily several times now so that should loosen that interior. Bleed that 2nd TE into the flat a time or two and give the defense something to think about. Until you make your opponent defend outside the box, you will have issues. And right now, we don’t really know what this offense is. -
So Arkansas and Vandy are playing in Atlanta for the SEC Championship in December?

2015...

You can keep making excuses but short yardage and goal line is a huge problem with our line under Flood. Were consistently bad at it

So you show a video of us versus OSU in which Hill is 3 yards in the backfield and blocks himself and are convinced that’s great line play? They doubled a dude and won yes but ignored Hill and he blew it. The one for us - they had 3.5 guys over our C/RG. You aren’t winning that. We even tipped the sneak. OMG. It’s a goalline play and Banks is blocking no one. Fire him. I simply cannot believe Conner didn’t block those 3 defenders. Helm looking at his QB. Thank goodness he left for the NFL, and we don’t have to deal with that anymore. - Today

Lotsa moving parts to Sark's offense. OL has to be sharper than for the quick-snap offenses.
-
Mercy firing, IMHO. I like the guy OK, but for goodness sake.....🫣
-
Stanford, Cal, Wake Forest, NC State would require a home and home deal

If this is true. It is a sad day for OSU. Gundy did more for OSU football than any other coach-by a large margin. Yes, Jimmy J. had a day, but he got out ASAP. Gundy's strength and weakness are his stubbornness. He refused to accept that OSU couldn't be a major player in the B12. His strength and steadfastness made them a significant force in the B12. Unfortunately, he has issues with change. Boone Pickens forced him to stop being the offensive coordinator and made him focus on head coach duties. NIL is the girl that he refuses to dance with......even though everyone else at the party is waiting in line for her. I'll bet Gary Patterson and he are best buds!
-
Gundy wanted to get get fired, bigger payout.
-
I doubt they’re any more underfunded than over half the B12 but they’re on the bottom.
-
No college coach can be successful in this day and age without a strong NIL program. Not sure how much of OSU’s problems are tied to OSU’s lack of NIL or Gundy’s disdain for NIL. Seems like OSU’s $ dried up with no T Boone.
-
@Bobby Burton @Gerry Hamilton missed on this one this morning. I didn’t have it either. Maybe @Joe Zura can get Lanning to take over at OK St.
-
This isn't a Oklahoma St problem, it's a Mike Gundy problem. How as a program can you have your HC refuse to use the portal and hate NIL. <Insert his Oregon NIL rant here from just a few weeks ago as proof he still hates NIL> He was lucky he wasn't fired earlier this year after the sit down with the powers to be. If anything in 2025 Gundy was holding them back as a program with his refusal. Adapt or die, he chose to die....it's on him. I He's 21-21 the past 4 season overall and 11-16 in conference play. Those records were only going to worsen as this season plays out.
-
Board and boosters have an inflated sense of what they can accomplish here. This won't get them any further this season; it won't help recruiting; it won't speed up the rebuild. Gundy is the program. End of story. They should have waited and cut ties at the end of the season. They could have still looked for a replacement and set things up. If anything, their negotiating position is worse now. It's mind boggling how business people get overly emotional when it comes to sports and end up shooting themselves in the foot.
-
If they roll over and play dead he’s gone. If they play hard he’ll stay for the time being.
-
Wow, please forward these to the staff. I bet they haven’t seen these!
-
Timing is odd considering they have only played three games. I’m guessing we’ll see a few quit and redshirt.
-
Seemed like the players quit on him. Got to cut the cancer.
-
Mike Gundy - YOU’RE FIRED!

Any potential players to poach because of the coaching change?
