I used to watch college basketball all the time. Now almost never. My interest didn’t really start until football ended. The frequent roster turnover is one element to lose interest. As for March Madness, opening weekend was the best. In part because it was somewhat easy for small school 5 beat or at least compete. Much more difficult to get 22. it basically took 1 year for people to say strength of schedule should matter so if it doesn’t, drop the marquee non-conference games and say no to G5 participants in the playoff.
