The injury that kept him sidelined this summer was more soft tissue. I don't remember if it was hamstring or groin, but one of the two. -
Gotta give Sark credit...

He had an ankle injury lingering from Stanford right? Hopefully not something that becomes reoccurring. He’s does all the right things on the field when healthy. -

Good! We really need him to go through spring ball to fully build a rapport with arch since he basically missed ALL of this years fall camp. -

Initial returns I have been able to gather were relatively positive for Mosley. The Longhorn wide receiver was spotted on crutches and a protective boot in the postgame after the win over Michigan. Based off of what I have collected today, the belief is that Mosley avoided significant injury to his ankle/foot. Mosley left the game in the 2nd quarter after a hit on the sideline left him unable to put much weight on his foot and knocked him out of the game. Again, still early, since the injury. However, the belief is that Mosley should not be sidelined too deep into winter conditioning.- 4 replies

Ya'll averaged 1.5 points per game in the 2025 College Football Playoffs. Congratulations. Ya'll represented the great state of Texas so well. Watching the two train wrecks (as well as OU) is the next best thing to being there.

I never got this line of thinking. Everyone's fallible, look at the Chad Scott and and Akina hires. Support but also let conversation happen

Wasn't just chatter. Teams tried. Glad they didn't succeed.
-
If I remember correctly there was chatter mid CFP last year of teams trying to poach Simmons and Muhammad away. I’ll just say…I completely understand why many coaches have no interest in coaching college anymore.
-
Saw something that is would be the 2nd fastest speed recorded in the NFL this season and 3rd last season. That’s insane. I THINK it was out of all offensive players too. Not just QB’s
-
Absolutely. Just pointing out how its easier for some schools to go all in on certain position groups or players when they aren't having to devote heavy dollars to retention (or at least not near as heavy as we do).
-
Supposedly he hit a top speed of 21.7, which is incredibly fast, especially for a QB with his size.

This kicker from Illinois has been clutch this year. could be a good option 2x all big ten kicker. would have to fight OSU for him probably -
We still have quite of bit of retention to do but I’m hoping the attrition helps free up space for multiple big hitters in the portal
-
Well. It certainly worked out for Tech and Bailey and Hunter in this case.
-
It's a lot easier to offer up spots for one year mercenaries when they don't have any competition on the roster and can walk into starting gigs. Tech didn't have to do much, if any, retention last year and still significantly less than Texas this year. Stark difference in the programs and how they have to approach the portal.
