  1. Past hour
  2. Great….just what we need.
  3. Safe travels. Billy may be roadkill by the Texas game.
  4. Safe travels Ger-behr!
  5. After the game, the crowd at Florida were chanting, "Fire Billy!" Napier already lost the fans, it's only a matter of time before he loses the locker room. My prediction, he won't be the head coach when we play them in Gainesville.
  6. I would like to see Brooks get some reps at RT once he's off punishment(hopefully these next two games) just to see what he can do. Right now Baker is a turn table offensive lineman and not good.
  7. A wounded dog is a dangerous game in that environment…
  8. I didn’t believe or fall for the “it’s tough to play in the swamp” or UF hype stuff that bobby and you were telling us. No disrespect, But sun belt billy is a dead man walking running that program. They got the DJ lagway bump of excitement, gave him an extension and then we blew them out a couple days later.
  9. Bro, they just lost to USF. And its not like USF played the cleanest game. They have 7 penalties for 70 yards...
  10. Two different skill sets between hoops and volleyball. The WNBA is super physical. They knock the crap out of each other. I am in awe how good the professional women hoopers are these days.
  11. This next 4 weeks is going to be brutal for Napier and Florida. With all that talent, they still couldn't beat USF at home. Not only that, you're facing some really good teams. I'm not sure he survives the year.
  12. I'm not about going off the PFF scaling, but that's my opinion. I'm not a fan of rotating OL, but that's my opinion. I think you need to do it like this. LT - Goosby, LG - Umeozulu, C - Hutson, RG - Campbell, RT - Baker. I think that's your best OL, right now. I thought Stroh did well last week, but against the SJSU front he got caught with cement feet more times than not and really missed some blocks. I think Umeozulu moves better and continues going after guys, etc. I don't think they played terribly, they're still trying to find their groove. Also don't understand the Hutson hate, he's been good for us ever since his Fr year. Though I'd like to see him be a bit more aggressive.
  13. He’s running his routes hard generally speaking. There were two balls, one in each game, in which I’d generally expect an effort to go down and get them. That first deep ball he got bumped off the route pretty easily then couldn’t decide where to finish the route. I do think there’s some acclimation ahead.
  14. Florida doesn't worry me. OU does. They have improved.
  15. I didn't think we'd be going after more DT's, I love it. Stack the room Coach Baker! Someone tell Flood he needs to go out and do the same lol.
  16. I think my only negative of that group is maybe Kanu? The few times I remember seeing him, he got washed out of the play, thrown to the ground, etc. Maybe that's nit picky. But I think it's Watson, who does this nasty spin move several times, that sh*t was wild lol.
  17. Today
  18. The offense looks like an offense with 7 players making their first start or playing meaningful snaps. This coaching staff has brought us to this point. They deserve your faith that they can figure it out.
  19. Hear yes. Will see James Monday afternoon at Northwestern High
  20. Yesterday
  21. It’s crazy to think people are analyzing him grimacing on a throw and drawing conclusions about it. This is football and it’s usually obvious when a QB is injured and shouldn’t be out there. Quinn wasn’t 100% in quite a few games the past 2 years and he played thru it when he could and sat out when necessary. People need to stop overanalyzing and trust the coaches and trainers.
  22. Starting to think OP is not a Texas fan.
  23. Many of Arch's big plays last year were to Wingo and Moore, but I think your point is valid. Wingo and Moore are being covered differently now. Wingo is consistently doubled, and defenses are looking to keep a safety over Moore deep. Moore made a couple of nice catches yesterday. Hopefully Coach Jackson can get these guys to do a better job of working leverage. If Livingstone keeps making big plays, defenses won't be able to stop everything.
  24. Arch didn't have these problems last year because obviously the receivers were better. There just isn't anyone outside of Parker who is making plays for him. Everyone likes to speak the buzzword mechanics, but nobody sees the plays where there's a guy draped on him and he gives his guy a chance to make a play and because the pass isn't perfect they drop it. Looking at you Butler and Wingo. With the gloves these guys wear it's literally supposed to be if it touches your hands you're supposed to catch it.
  25. Jerry's actually been pretty good at running a draft board and roster building (or at least he has scouts that can tell him). His problem is that the meddles so much that he undermines the coach in the locker room. But I agree. I don't think Shanahan would be willing to work under Jerry.
  26. He wouldn't work in Dallas. Jerry wouldn't give him control over the roster and draft picks like he would want. Plus his offense hasn't changed, its basically his Dad's scheme in a pass happy league. His offenses has been slowly becoming less productive.
