This is sad to think, But so true. I’ve mentally moved on to the basketball season.

I really feel like it’s multiple things and not just one definitive problem. I mean i wasn’t naive enough to think getting taaffe back would be the end all be all fix for secondary bust. You can communicate well, But if you can’t get your assignments done correctly then it’s all for not.

Team looked checked out for most of the game, especially after the onside kick. Even the few big plays weren't really celebrated. How does this team look when they have a very slim chance of even making the playoffs? I think most people aren't gonna like the answer. Biggest two weeks in Sark's coaching career imo. This could get ugly quickly. Shame to see this right when Arch seems to have gotten over the mental hurdle, though he played at a high level saturday, just not enough help around him.

We're still having communication issues this late in the season? Not trying to be combative, just bewildered.

I honestly don’t think its a lack of talent because that secondary is full of it, But i think its a communication, maturity and whole new secondary coaching staff issue.

I know it's been harped on enough, but what's the deal with our secondary? Why are we playing so far off the ball? The defense looks to be two different squads playing a different game. Stockton didn't even have to think because his first read was always 5 yards open, especially in their first two touchdown drives. It doesn't matter how good our pass rush is if we don't even have to make Stockton pause for even a second. If it's a lack of trust in our players, then you either didn't coach them up or you should have been more honest with yourselves in going to the portal. If you're saying we don't have Barron or Makuba, it's game ten of the season. We don't have another cornerback on this team who can play sticky coverage? All night Herbstreit was pointing out that Georgia was pretty much targeting the cornerback opposite of Muhammad. Like I said, it's game ten of the season, the fact no one has developed to be that guy is exposing. All season, it feels like we are playing with handcuffs on. I don't know if it's a lack of trust, coaching or players, maybe all of the above. Sark gets paid plenty of money to solve it, and needs to in a hurry.

Just as we are finding out with Winfield, flipping elite players is becoming harder every year with more buttoned up nil contracts. Having Tech and Aggy lock down half the state before Sark even starts to recruit is going to be a problem.

We have absolutely 0 2027 recruiting momentum lmao, obviously they aren’t locked into it yet but hope they start soon.
