  1. Past hour
  2. Line up and run basic running plays like they did against OU and if I need to be clearer RUN THE DAMN BALL SARK!
  3. It really is amazing how much the confluence of issues all hit at once on offense this season. - Bad evaluations and no development from past OL recruiting classes is bearing no fruit. - Arch in his third year gets outplayed by a redshirt freshman “local boy” from Lexington. - Five RBs in the room and not one turns out to be an elite option. (Thank you Wisener for playing so far above your weight for two seasons now. You are a dog.) - Baxter back injured which has to be expected as the norm for him going forward. - Our one skill position add in the portal Moseley hurt for the first four games. - Sark going all in on Wingo as 2025 WR1 fails to materialize for a myriad of reasons both having to do with Arch and Wingo. - Clark who we heard about all offseason either isn’t back to the same as he was as a recruit or he just wasn’t anywhere near the Bijan comparisons that we heard during his recruitment. - Endries portal bidding war win doesn’t result in the next Sanders / Helm as much as it does another body in the TE room. - And maybe most importantly, the one guy at QB we need right now to punish aggressive front 7s attacking our Swiss cheese offensive line is sitting on the bench in Miami. Having been escorted out of the program to make way for Arch. What a mess.
  4. All this q back talk reminded me about grandpa Archie and wanting Arch to stay three years. Maybe he knew something but when the hype train was in full force what could one do.
  5. He has definitely stepped his game up on the field since the Florida game, so he's leading by example too. Just need more vocal leaders in that locker room to go along with Simmons.
  6. If Sarks the HC continues to employ Sark the OC, then Sark the HC will be writing his own pink slip in 2 years. It’s his call.
  7. Needs to be Colin . Ant hill seems too nice and well mannered off the field. Colin Simmons has attitude to em.
  8. Great article, Jeff. Your insight and analysis are always valued and appreciated. 🤘🏽
  9. Who is this teams Brian Orakpo? Accountability is what he demanded or else.
  10. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1StUP9iR8z/?mibextid=wwXIfr I think Colin Simmons might end up being the overall leader of this team.
  11. What qualifies you to state he has no idea how to read a defense post snap? This is absolutely a point in order to make that statement that you need to know the defense they prepared for, what defense they actually saw, and what the actual reads are. Do you know any of the specifics? Did you know that prior to this week when kept clean that he got rid of it quicker than Ty Simpson by 0.2 seconds? And that their overall time to throw was virtually the same? That it was very similar to Caleb Williams overall time to throw. You know the guy that won the Heisman. Arch got pressured far more often but got sacked less frequently per pressure if I remember correctly.
  12. 25-19 Texas takes 2nd set. Texas leads 2-0
  13. I agree Herman was not a good coach but it’s inexcusable for Sark to have an Herman-esque season with the resources available today. But I think the truth is that Texas needs to stop hiring coaches with skeletons in the closet, and get high class proven commodities.
  14. Just to be clear, I’m not arguing Herman was better than Sark. My point is about context: Herman never had NIL, the transfer portal, or the ability to cherry pick experienced elite players to fill gaps in the roster. Those tools drastically change roster construction and depth, which makes comparing “never sniffed the playoffs” without acknowledging them misleading. Sark has had all those advantages for five years, yet many issues on offense and lack of QB development remain Adding context to a discussion board isn’t flawed logic, even if it’s not popular. I’ll leave it here. My points are fact based, focused on observable results, and stand regardless of personal opinions or attacks. For anyone genuinely interested in a data driven discussion, the evidence is clear.
  15. Wait until you see my Miss State score prediction….(hint: we lose by 10+). 😀
  16. Well, pulling people’s chains is exactly what you’re doing by having this “discussion”. It’s flawed, entirely. Of course the two coaches operated under different times, etc. But debating the level of success, regardless of the context, is what actually matters. And in that, there is no reasonable comparison.
  17. And that gentlemen is why I dont bet on sports lol
  18. 25-23 Texas takes 1st set
  19. The pass to Moore that he ran out of bounds. More of it Sark. It was open against OU. It was open here. UK showed us a number of simple plays in the pass game. Jet sweeps/ends around to it other than Wingo.
  20. Today
  21. This conversation started with comparing Herman never sniffing the playoffs to Sark in terms of results and context. I’m here to discuss observable outcomes, not to pull anyone’s chain. NIL, the transfer portal, and top tier recruiting have changed what’s expected from Texas coaches. I appreciate everyone keeping the discussion respectful and focused on the facts, with the exception of those who resort to personal jabs.
  22. I typed a long paragraph trying to be positive and funny, but I erased it to ask the following. OTF, I think after how bad this last game was to watch, it would make sense (and great content) to put out a video to show what worked against OU compared to Kentucky and why. There are some things that are obvious, but I think it would be a good exploration on both games.
