Every school in Texas has this “schedule us unless yall are scared” mentality with UT. They know deep down they have nothing to lose. Can’t give in to bums like Joey -

Even if Tech beat Texas, would that necessarily prove what Sark said wrong? His comment was aimed at their conference schedule. -

Yet, , in your words, they influenced that bill more than the sec. So while I don't like tech, they've got balls that the sec schools don't have. -

Ismael Camara's "PROtectors" initiative has no connection to Protector.org, Street Grace, or Bob Rodgers. It is an un-incorporated grassroots movement. Ismael Camara plays offensive line—a position whose fundamental job is to protect—he naturally chose the word "PROtector" to describe his personal philosophy of looking out for the "blind sides" of lonely or struggling children. P – Pay Attention: He challenges people to actively notice if a child is "not acting like a kid" or showing signs of deep distress and withdrawal. R – Respond: Once a child's suffering is noticed, Camara urges people to immediately step in, react, and find ways to help rather than walking away. O – Open Doors: This means taking tangible, active responsibility for a child’s "blind side," offering them safety, mentorship, or resources. Conversely, The Protector.org is a highly formalized, corporate-backed digital safety infrastructure.

I hope our administration doesn’t dignify these shenanigans by publicly addressing them. Let them scream into the void. We shouldn’t empower them. If we are headed to super conferences they will be asked to join if football fans want to see them. If they don’t bring market share, ESPN, Fox, et al won’t pay up for them and the network/conferences will simply default to the Miami’s, FSU’s, Clemson’s, ND’s etc that bring viewers and frankly more pedigree and history…..not far flung tortillas! -

Texas Tech continues to show why they’re the most childish university in the state. They know deep down their season is over without a QB and want to throw out fantasy scenarios as a fake “gotcha” moment. If they cared about SOS they would’ve scheduled a real team before Sark called them out. -
I want a playoff scenario where Texas gets to go through Tech and Oregon so bad I can taste it

Eh, fu*k it, schedule them. I don’t think the game would be competitive and it would prove Sark’s point. -

Armpit of the universe. -
I actually feel bad for the Tech fans who’ve fallen hook, line and sinker for the wrestling promo.

Joey knows this won’t happen, Cody Campbell knows this won’t happen and anybody with two brain cells knows this just big talk with no consequences for what’s said. That won’t stop a portion of the Tech fan base from thinking they got one over on Texas and that the Longhorns “are too scared to play them.” Texas has never and will never view Tech as a rival. The first truly noteworthy season since Tech fired the best coach in its history doesn’t make you elite. It doesn’t mean you get to dictate terms to anyone outside the Mickey Mouse league you couldn’t wait for Texas and OU to vacate. It makes you obnoxious. Best case scenario for Tech’s season is they’ll roll through the Big 12, get a bye into the CFP quarterfinals and then soundly lose to a team with as much or more talent. Wash, rinse and repeat.
