  1. Past hour
  2. And that OL under performed
  3. It was obvious to many of us. But somehow not obvious to our coaching staff. Nice job fellas
  4. Absolutely
  5. Rebuilding means you have young players getting experience to be better the next year. This OL is old and terrible. That’s not rebuilding. No one in the RB room is looking like a difference maker regardless of age. Young WR aren’t getting reps or stepping up. So that’s not rebuilding. Arch is a third year player in the program.
  6. French wasn't a 5* and wasn't pursued nationally like one either. That's why missing on DK Moore really sucked.
  7. Biggest Disappointments on Offense and What to Change Now 1. The Offensive Line: We talked about the O-Line in pre-season as if we wouldn't miss a beat from having to replace 4 out of 5 starters from a Top 5 O-Line in the country. That was extremely naive in retrospect. This O-line could end up being very good in 2026 or 2027, but this 2025 iteration is simply not good enough. Change Needed: 1) Start Nick Brooks at LG going forward so we can at least prepare him for 2026. Stroh and Neto are already in year 4 and have had multiple chances, and they clearly do not meet the bar. 2) Start Conner Robertson or Daniel Cruz at Center. Cole Hutson is already in year 4 and he is who he is - a liability at Center and a serviceable backup at Guard. 2. The Offensive Skill Positions: We need more playmakers on the field, and should roll the dice with more talented young players rather than older more "reliable" players. Change Needed: 1) Stop playing Ryan Niblett (at WR, RB, or punt returner). He goes down too easily on first contact, has no wiggle/bounce, and has track speed but not football speed...enough already with his high snap counts. Replace him with Jonah Williams on PR, and give Daylon McCutcheon his snaps at WR. 2) James Simon and Jerrick Gibson need to play ahead of Christian Clark (and even take some load off of Tre Wisner). We need RBs who run violently, make one cut, and go upfield and lean on people for 3-4 yards. This is even more important because our OL doesn't maul people - so we need RBs who can do more of the mauling and give us an identity on the ground. Let's let the young bucks get more run.
  8. We were ranked number 1 pre-season and we aren't even top 30.
  9. How embarrassing is it to go into Red River Shootout 3-2 with the criminals 5-0? We shouldn't be ranked. Last year those chumps couldn't win a game against a decent team. Now we can't.
  10. Or it's the "circle of trust" thing and the playbook is too complex
  11. We have receiver open underneath but arch is blind
  12. Sark's offense sucks. People will say there were guys open and players just didn't execute. But you could make the same argument for Herman and Strong's teams. If they had executed better, they would have won more. But they didn't execute. The defense played poorly today, but that was unusual. Unfortunately, today was typical of a Sark offense against a good defense.
  13. I cannot think of an adjective that properly describes this performance. Offensive line play is where football success builds from, and this season I'm not seeing it. Right now, I'm not at all worried about what the playoff committee thinks.
  14. The Offensive lines sucks. Not sure where they go from here. Cant win SEC games with garbage line play. Cant snap the wall without a penalty either. As bad as the o-line is… it feels like we’re missing a game breaker with elite speed in this mix too. Hind site is 20/20… but Texas definitely targeted the wrong Florida 5 Star WR with the 💰last cycle. Ffrench can’t pick up the playbook but Dallas Wilson is balling out of control in Game 1!
  15. I long for the days of ballers.
  16. Today
  17. Defense will definitely get chewed out after this terrible performance and yes we need Manny back Immediately at CB
  18. Feel like this offense run through Arch and Arch only because my Lord this OL IS ATROCIOUS
  19. Miami killing Florida State. Farmers killing Miss ST. Damn we suck. Just think if Nixon or Reagan had performed like this in the Cold War.
  20. This didn’t just age bad, it spoiled overnight. All that talk about “Florida won’t be close” and “Lagway can’t throw against a real defense”… and then Texas goes out there and looks completely lost. That’s not a player problem, that’s a coaching problem and that coaching problem wasn’t Billy Napier.
  21. All true. Worried about that game though was not worried about Florida as much as concerned Texas just doesn’t have it.
  22. And with the way Michigan's OL has looked post-OU, Malakai Lee ain't flipping to Texas, so you might end up with a 3-man high school OL class for the 2026 cycle.
  23. All of this means our defense played one of the worst games in history, This is unconscionable.
