My hope is the entire team learned. Yeah it’s over and played a role for making the game more memorable too. The penalty is part of his performance and impact on the game. That’s the message I hope each player gets - one play can be very impactful on the game. Im not asking for any repercussions although I’d hope there might be something internally.

Pay the dang refs and get some professionals. SEC refs get like 3k per game lol

SEC football is billions of dollars business---what a stupid mistake to make. Only 1 of refs knew the rules and he got rolled over.

Why wasn't Jeff Banks going ballistic about this to the refs and to Sark? Probably because he didn't know the rules. He's only the Special Teams Coach.

That's because there's never consequences. We are an undisciplined football program and it start with Sark. 10 penalties a game feels like has become the norm around here along with generally low IQ play.

You're not wrong, but it is what it is. He made a crazy selfish decision (which I agree was premeditated) and also had a dominant football game. Hope he learns and moves on with more dominant play and less bad decisions.

They left out the offsides that also occurred. Tennessee was lined up at the thirty five and the ball hit the kicker’s foot at the 33-1/2.

Did they ever give us the 10 second run off at the end of the game? I remember it was at 41 seconds, and they said in the broadcast that there should have been 10 second less to 31 and that never happened.

That was a premeditated celebration. On the football field, he committed a crime and did it knowingly. He played great, but that penalty discounts the positives from the preceding 3 plays. In the stadiumTennessee had no juice at that point. It provided them an opportunity to grow their confidence, it took an offensive possession from us and changed momentum. Take that embarrassment out of the equation. It was one of the momentous plays in the game. Purely speculative on my part, but I think we score that possession, if it’s 6, it’s probably game over at that point. That discounts his overall game a great deal as it gave them some life when they had none.

Good to know now, 2 days later, thanks SEC. How about the short spots routinely throughout the game? Oh and Tennessee getting generous spots all day? The 4th down they went for, are we sure he ever got the first down? The no call holding on Colin the play before their TD, I could go on and on. Corrupt crew, end of story.

He is seeing the field much better than I thought. Sark put Arch in some terrible spots. The long developing routes were boneheaded on his part. Arch did miss a wide-open slant to Mosely, but other than that, he was muuuuch better than I thought. Sark simply was out-coached.
