  1. Past hour
  2. Double for A-Rod on a hard-hit ball down the right-field line that just lands fair.
  3. Texas and Nebraska Sunday 2pm, elimination game
  4. There's no need to burn bullpen arms. Volantis wouldn't pitch again in the regional, unless he were needed on Monday in a winner-take-all regional final.
  5. Tonight's attendance is 8,276, the fourth-largest crowd in Disch-Falk Field history.
  6. Tinney, who advanced to third on a groundout by Pack, scores on a wild pitch. Texas has a 13-0 lead with one out in the bottom of the sixth.
  7. Tinney took a glove swipe to the face, legging out a double off the bullpen wall in right field. He's safe and OK physically with a leadoff double in the sixth.
  8. Volantis retires the Texans in order in the fifth. Three hits and one walk allowed with seven strikeouts through five innings (70 total pitches) for Volantis.
  9. Nice defensive play by Borba at third base for the second out of the inning.
  10. Robbins grounds into a 5-4-3 double play, ending the top of the fifth. That's the first inning in the regional in which Texas has failed to score.
  11. If you’re looking at Medaka for your first tank, you’re already ahead of the curve - Awesome choice. They’re super hardy, peaceful, and way more forgiving than guppies or tetras. No heater needed indoors, and they stay active instead of hiding all day. They also come in a ton of colors, and breeding them is stupid‑easy since they’re egg layers. A simple 10–20 gallon tank(still would prefer bigger) with a sponge filter and some floating plants is all they need. For tank mates, keep it chill: shrimp, snails, small rasboras, white clouds, or other Medaka strains. Just skip anything big, nippy, or hyper - they’re peaceful fish, so keep the neighborhood peaceful too. My first venture was>>>Endler’s Livebearers - Super colorful, super chill, and they don’t bully anyone, Cherry Barbs - Red, bright, active, and not jerks like other barbs and Nerite Snails - Not fish, but perfect cleanup crew and zero drama. WARNING, Endlers will give you babies whether you ask for them or not 😀
  12. Rayner Heinrich's infield single and a walk drawn by Carson Lorch threaten to get Tarleton on the board. Volantis rallies through, recording sixth and seventh strikeouts of the night to get out of the fourth unscathed. This is one is all Texas through four complete.
  13. On another note, Pretty cool of southern Miss to allow 3 other teams to use their facility this weekend
  14. Well, at least every team that plays Texas knows if Borba comes up to the base, they get a guaranteed out unless you throw him a perfectly down the center fastball. Just throw pitches 3 feet outside the zone and you can strike him out great inning, though outside of that.
  15. Borba flies out to left, ending the inning with the bases loaded. Texas scores five runs on no hits. Even with 12 runs, the Longhorns have left nine men on base through four.
