  1. Past hour
  2. It’s really not that deep man. Drawing a conclusion based on mods stating that it’s not disciplinary, not family related, not an injury, not a personal matter. There are 20 comments saying to get rid of him. I’m on the side of work it out and if we can. Sorry if it offends you.
  3. Hopefully it’s not related to playing time or his competition. If it is, that’s a shame because we’ll need him. Cryer isn’t a 3 down LBer. He can’t cover to save his life.
  4. I was right there in the end zone when this happened! I can almost see myself in the crowd haha. That stupid return and some BAD misses by Simms in the second half lost us that damn game. 😔
  5. Better hope Cryer is more than just a one dimensional run stuffer or we could be in massive trouble at LB.
  6. Rod B was an important recruit from Houston best I recall. Seemed like a big one at the time. And love Rod B. He talks football in a way I can follow.
  7. The best No. 21 in the history of Texas football!
  8. Is Bobby Layne the best two-sport athlete in school history? He's for sure in the conversation.
  9. So that’s how you drew your conclusion? Cmon dude….be better than that.
  10. Could be. I said when players were leaving Vic’s team that hard coaching isn’t for everyone. I think the teams that win consistently don’t have soft approaches. The teams that win the coaches are hardasses. Sark hired Muschamp for this reason. To bring a toughness to the defense. In most games last few years but in the big games we couldn’t handle Georgia. I like TyAnthony alot. I hope he stays with the team. Cryer was better than we thought and Atkinson is coming at a high rate of speed. Ra SHEEM is better than even advertised. Spence is tough. Rocky. We have better depth than Ive seen at LB in a long time
  11. I expect more mental toughness from a Jasper kid.
  12. Cut him. Players are paid now. He needs to get on the train or bye.n
  13. Check the scrimmage thread. Gerry has responded to other people commenting about info on other boards. He doesn’t outright say what’s going on but he said it’s more than family issues and that he’s hopefully it’s resolved.
  14. OMG, so painful. He has two years left. He is an obvious talent who needs to get bigger and practice more. Leader in the clubhouse. Generally speaking, our portal pickups have been all positive. This sounds like a little blowback from a kid who HAS MORE TIME TO GROW, DEVELOP and Mature. As is said above, but assuming a bit of a hissy fit by him/family/influencers, hopefully they cool off, see the big picture, and realize that injuries will mean tons of snaps and probable starts for Ty. Fingers crossed for a good solution for all.
  15. Idk if I would say extremely serious, as that brings to mind things beyond the game of football, but yea serious for our team.
  16. I hope it’s nothing major, but the timing of this (if it’s position related) is not the most beneficial for his future or the team. I hope his agent/family talk to him and get him to understand the opportunity he has. Again, we’re all just speculating, but hoping it’s nothing major.
  17. It’s to late. Everyone has jumped
  18. It’s been confirmed that we aren’t overreacting. There’s a rift and it’s either going to be mended or he will be moving on.
  19. Today
  20. Sounds like it’s something extremely serious and deeper than just “family issues,”
  21. Gabriel Reliford season-ending ACL tear and Damien Shanklin is away from the team indefinitely. McKinley has foot/toe setbacks and starts fall camp taking third-team reps. None of the projected rotation defensive tackles possess the 300-pound-plus frame required for SEC
  22. If he is sitting due to hurt feelings (either because he was chewed out or because he is getting beat out) then that’s a character flaw and doesn’t sit right with me.
  23. One from way back I’d Joe Dixon. Played both ways 62-64.
  24. @Rod Babers and it ain’t that close. Niblett and Gideon in distant second
