Sark needs this kind of Augie intensity

This. Arch doesn’t have mastery over the system and it’s obvious. -

Sark needs this kind of Augie intensity
Cape Horn replied to Roy Hinojosa's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Those of you who knew Augie, knew he was exactly like that clip in real life. The yelling was secondary….the message was that baseball taught every lesson in life that you need to know. The frustration (and yelling) was that those kids on that team were missing out on life because of the way that they were treating a “game”. It’s not a game, and never was, to Augie. -

G** durnit Jeff! You think this is a f*ng game, pumping this sunshine?! People's kalshi accounts are at stake here! -
Wait, this is you? 😂 Days ago you blamed Arch for holding the ball too long. Now you’re mocking a clip where he barely has time to throw. Pick a lane. And did you ever find the data backing up your claim that Arch has one of the highest times to throw in the country? We’re all ears.

Sark with a shot across the bow. Wont be long until donors take the same kind of shot across Sarks bow as well.

I must’ve missed the part where you were in Augie’s locker room. You know how often he went off, how the players reacted, and what made it meaningful? That’s an impressive level of firsthand knowledge for someone who was apparently everywhere except on camera. -
Theyve done well developing defensive players. Offensive players are another story. Guys like Bijan and Roschon succeeded in spite of as opposed because of this offensive style. Really the only offensive guy that i can think of that was developed on the off side is Gunner Helm. Most of the other draftees from the offense rarely lived up to what should have been the floor of potential.

So firing the coaches responsible for developing the QB and fixing the offensive line accomplishes nothing, but throwing an inexperienced QB behind that same line in the same offense might? You aren’t proposing a solution. You’re proposing a new scapegoat for Sark. Your solution to bad coaching is to give the same coaches another quarterback to ruin. Brilliant!! Hahaha, I’d never expect less of you.

Longhorns in the NFL: Week 6

It was great to see Worthy featured. He and Golden are really shining this year along with the expected dominance of the great Bijan Robinson. Always exciting to watch Byron Murphy work. 🤘 -
I wouldn’t expect you to know…BUT…“Thankfully once he reaches the NFL…” Exactly. Maybe by then he’ll have a coach who can develop him, an offensive line that can protect him, and an offense that puts him in position to succeed. Quite the endorsement of Sark’s $10M operation. You made my point better than I could.

The problem with Sarks offense is and has been soft. This is due to his finesse style in a LOS conference. If you are going to run a zone blocking scheme you CAN NOT afford to have any lineman that has slow feet. You have to beat opponents to a spot, not necessarily to move anyone but to shield lanes both in the run and pass game. Further because generally those lineman are a bit smaller and quicker passing downs need to develop relatively quickly. You cant sit in the pocket for 4 or 5 seconds. Big arm long developing plays will not work against equally talented teams. Physics simply do not work. Not all but most big lineman are generally slower afoot but can keep a pocket cleaner for pass and work much better for power run games. There are very few offensive linemen that are both large and quick. Kelvin Banks is the only one I can recall in the Sark era that fits that mold. This offense does not continuously do either of these well. Smallish center that gets pushed backwards regularly...GCG continuously late to spots. This doesn't even take into account a QB that seems utterly lost. A playcaller that limits audibles instead of letting him get the offense into better plays. This team was constructed with this staff and have failed to develop the talent they recruited. There is definitely a lot of flies in the ointment. Figure out what kind of offense you want to run and recruit guys that fit that regardless of the stars attached to their name.

I love to say Sark and co can’t develop. But I haven’t seen this many of our boys in the league in awhile! I just wish one was a QB 😞 -
Sark's Offense Is Dated
Assistant Regional Manager replied to Levester White's topic in On Texas Football Forum
What exactly are we looking at here Phog? A SEC QB getting hit and pressured as he throws? Is that supposed to be unique to Arch? Thankfully once he reaches the NFL, the pockets will always be clean and the throwing windows will be much larger. -
