As a result, Texas had 10 points and 135 yards on the first two drives. Felt like the offense and Sark went away from that when the script ran up. They returned to it in the 2nd half on a 14-yard gain to Wingo and a 10-yard gain to Wingo. But then it was too late and Florida had taken the lead.

It is entirely possible that Lacey can run Sark's garbage system better than Arch can. I'd rather address that other problem, but that's more of an offseason thing.

Unfortunately, CJ, this means nothing. Unless Sark names KJ the starter and gives him a chance to lead from the beginning, all you are doing is putting undue pressure on an already head-case QB. Is Sark's brilliant plan to start Arch, let us get behind by multiple scores and then bring KJ in when Ole Miss knows we are going to be passing? I have serious doubts about Sark's long-term tenure at Texas as it is. If he pulls this nonsense, I'll know for sure he is clueless and on his way out the door.

Honestly if they’re splitting reps and it’s even close you have to put in KJ. Arch should be light years ahead of KJ and if he is not he needs to play.

Sark should start Lacey if he looks better with those reps. I hate him having to bring him in once all momentum is with the other team.

He also lost to 2 unranked teams, yes. the quarterbacks job is to run the offense well enough to win football games. He’s done that 4 times against top 10 teams. He also hasn’t done that well enough against 3 unranked teams. If it’s me, I’m at least starting with the experience for Ole Miss. If things go haywire then you pivot. I think that’s exactly what Sark will do.

Given that Thamel was a the mouthpiece for Ewers and his team, is he the same for the manning camp?

Perhaps this is a question for Bobby CJ or Jerry. When you have a quarterback, that’s obviously as talented as arch and they’re not seeing the field and they’re hanging on the ball too long. How is that coached? Because he is obviously not progressing and they surely know that’s one of the issues. That’s the head scratcher. With arch’s lineage, Sark and his uncles you think there would be a lot of coaching going on and some level of progression, but we obviously don’t see it..

Just pull the plug. All you are doing is putting more pressure on Arch and he is showing he isn't dealing good woth pressure. Worse for Arch if he starts and gets pulled. Just do it. It will be better for Arch if you want him to succeed. Although it will be somewhere else.

I want to reiterate that Kobe Bryant is the only player with a winning record against Tim Duncan in the playoffs 18-12.

Most likely scenario that I see is that Arch will start the game. At half time, if the team is up, he's going to start the 2nd half. If Texas is losing going into half, KJ might get a chance to start 2nd half. If the team implodes again in the 3rd quarter, KJ might get a chance to come in.
