  1. Past hour
  2. It’s always nice when players understand the assignment when it comes to autographing memorabilia.
  3. I would imagine they'll end up picking someone up. They can't go into the season with that backup QB situation, considering who their starter is.
  4. SP+ is a tempo- and opponent-adjusted measure of college football efficiency. It is a predictive measure of the most sustainable and predictable aspects of football, not a résumé ranking, and, along those same lines, these projections aren't intended to be a guess at what the AP Top 25 will look like at the end of the year. These are simply early offseason power rankings based on the information we have been able to gather to date. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45966848/college-football-2025-preseason-sp+-rankings
  5. I was doing some research during Coffee and Football this morning and came to the realization that exactly 50% of starting SEC QBs in 2025 are transfers. John Mateer (Washington State - OU) Zach Calzada (A&M/Auburn/Incarnate Word - Kentucky) Jackson Arnold (OU - Auburn) Joey Aguilar (UCLA - Tennessee) Beau Pribula (Penn State -Missouri) Blake Shapen (Baylor - Mississippi State) Diego Pavia (New Mexico State - Vanderbilt) Taylen Green (Boise State - Arkansas) It's also worth mentioning that there are zero third year starters at the position in the SEC this season.
  6. A 10-2 Texas with a win at Ohio State and at one of Florida/Georgia is in the playoff 100% of the time. So yes, I’ll take a guaranteed playoff spot if offered that today.
  7. In this scenario, it would be best to lose at OSU and Florida. That would mean Texas would build toward wins against OU, Georgia, and A&M. The narrative would instantly shift about Texas if it beats Georgia, and it would also mean that Texas would be undefeated since Week 5. It would have a strong case for both the SEC championship and would be an extremely hot team going. Into the playoffs.
  8. No, because we are better than every team on our schedule. They only game I will concede is UGA until we prove we can beat them
  9. Today
  10. I would but hoping we reach our ceiling. To be honest I look at next year as the year we should take it all but I am hopeful Arch and our O line can get it going on a dime and not go through the normal hiccups of a first year starter. Time will tell.
  11. How dare you besmirch the ability of Joe Tatum.
  12. He’s going to be in trouble. AOL is canceling dial up service. He’s going to have to finally join the 21st century! Haha
  13. HAH not sure how you thought that offended me, just thought it was such a terrible take that it had to be sarcasm A venmo from 3 years ago on a game he didn't play in while at a different school shouldn't affect games he plays in 3 years later Also, yes, Pete Rose AND Barry Bonds should be in the hall of fame
  14. All-time has to be Street. Current has to be Taaffe. By the end of next year, Arch.
  15. Quinn is better than Zach Wilson who should be the face of Duck Camp.
  16. I will not accept any scenario where a loss to lil' bro is conceded.
  17. I understand its a numbers game thus LJH being in and Hyatt potentially being out but as far as their skill sets and functionality in an offense they offer completely different skill sets. LJH has done a great job carving out a career in the NFL but I still wish he had returned for one more year at Texas. He ran like a freight train after the catch in the Sugar Bowl victory. Will always be one of my favorite players!
  18. No, I’d rather see Texas win all four of those games and have a WTF loss against Kentucky, Mississippi State, or Vanderbilt similar to how Notre Dame lost to Northern Illinois but still went on to play for a national championship.
  19. He's been with the Saints, Patriots, Broncos and now the Giants after going undrafted in 2019. There's a report from Giants camp suggesting LJ might be poised to claim Jalin Hyatt's roster spot (Hyatt was a third-round pick out of Tennessee in 2023).
  20. From Joe Schad, who covers the Dolphins for the Palm Beach Post: "I have Quinn Ewers on the projected roster. But we reserve the right to place him on practice squad at any time, depending on how the rest of preseason goes."
