Bo Ogden playing really well at USA basketball… Ogden named finalist for USA Basketball Men’s U18 National Team Texas signee Bo Ogden is one of 19 players in contention for a spot on 12-member team for FIBA U18 Men’s AmeriCup. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — University of Texas Men’s Basketball signee Bo Ogden has been named one of 19 finalists for the 2026 USA Basketball Men’s U18 National Team, USA Basketball announced Saturday. Finalists were selected by the USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team Committee from among 32 athletes following three days of training camp at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Training camp will continue for the next several days, and the 12-member team will be announced before it departs for the 2026 FIBA U18 Men’s AmeriCup, scheduled for June 1-7 in Leon, Mexico. In addition to Ogden, the finalists for the 2026 USA Basketball Men’s U18 National Team are Davion Adkins, Reese Alston, Tarris Bouie, Bruce Branch III, Quentin Coleman, Adan Diggs, Caleb Gaskins, Demarcus Henry, Josh Irving, Jasiah Jervis, Malachi Jordan, Taylen Kinney, Colben Landrew, J’Lon Lyons, Baba Oladotun, Ethan Taylor, Davion Thompson and Darrius Wabbington. Ogden has previous experience with USA Basketball. He won a gold medal when he helped the USA 3x3 Men’s U18 National Team win the title at the FIBA U18 World Cup in Hungary in August 2024. Ogden, a guard from Austin, Texas, who played at Westlake High School, was recently named Mr. Basketball in the state of Texas by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC). He helped lead Westlake to a 32-7 overall record and a runner-up finish in the UIL Class 6A Division II state tournament. Ogden averaged 22.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while hitting 40-percent from three-point range and 84-percent from the free throw line during his senior season. He also earned a spot on the 6A UIL Boys All-State team, claimed District 26-6A Most Valuable Player honors and garnered mention on the 6A UIL Boys Academic All-State team. During his junior year at St. Michael’s Preparatory School (Austin, Texas), Ogden averaged 14.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while leading St. Michael’s to a 32-4 mark and the Class 6A TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools) state championship. He hit the game-winning shot at the buzzer to lift St. Michael’s to a 50-48 victory over Dallas Parish Episcopal in the state championship game. Ogden earned TAPPS Class 6A all-state honors and was named the 2025 All-Austin Metro Mr. Basketball by Austin Sports Journal. USA Basketball will open Group A play with Argentina, Brazil and Mexico at the 2026 FIBA U18 Men’s AmeriCup. The U.S. men will take on Argentina in their opening game at 6:30 p.m. CT on June 1. The Americans hold a 14-1 record against the Argentineans. On June 2 at 9 p.m. CT, the USA will face Mexico, who they have defeated in all five previous meetings. Group A play closes with Brazil at 4 p.m. CT on June 4 with the U.S. looking to improve to 12-0 all-time. The winners of both groups will advance directly to the semifinals on June 6and the medal games are scheduled for June 7.Semifinal play-in games are set for June 5. USA Basketball has won 11 gold medals in 13 iterations of the event, including seven straight dating back to 2010. In addition to the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela will compete with the top four teams earning a berth to the 2027 FIBA U19 Men’s World Cup in Pardubice, Czechia.

  21. So scary. A few years ago I got really bad pneumonia (felt like I was knocking on death's door) and went to urgent care and they mentioned early sepsis. Scary how fast that can go south if you don't treat it immediately.
