He’s a strong guy and he’s greatful for the prayers y’all sent his way. Times have been tough but it’s nice to know that a community like this one can make life seem all the better. Hook’Em!

  5. USC just passed us for top recruits in the country . With their recruits and Juju back, man they are going to be great. But so are we.

  7. One of the reasons why Jim Schlossnagle gave Carson Tinney what was supposed to be a night off in Tuesday’s 9-7 loss to Houston was due to the All-American catcher taking a foul ball to the hand early in Sunday’s 5-0 series-clinching win over Auburn. Schlossnagle said during his media availability at UFCU Disch-Falk Field on Wednesday that Tinney experienced some swelling and soreness in his hand after the game. Still, he was able enter Tuesday’s game as a late-inning replacement for Andrew Ermis. Schlossnagle expects Tinney to be full go when No. 2 Texas opens a three-game SEC series at home against No. 8 Oklahoma on Thursday. The same can’t be said for freshman pitcher Michael Winter, who remains unavailable with an undisclosed sickness. Winter visited with a doctor on Wednesday and although Schloss able said they’re waiting on test results before determining Winter’s status for the series, he said it’s hard envision Winter giving the Longhorns anything of significance since he’s been off his normal prep work for a weekend series.

  9. Sean Miller is speaking from San Jose. He was asked about the status of Texas PG Jordan Pope ahead of tomorrow night's game. "He's dealing with a lower leg situation. We're hopeful that he can (play). We've given him a lot of rest since our last game, and I think he's really responding to it."

  10. I don’t think I would trade Vic for anyone in the country. He’s going to win one at some point. He keeps stacking talent.
  11. Is Sean Miller getting a raise at Texas? @Gerry Hamilton
  12. For those who care, they have Arch as the #3 returning qb, Cam the #5 returning WR, Goosby #3 at OT. No Texas players at the top 10 of their position at RB, TE, OG, C, or DT.

  14. If I'm North Carolina, I make Billy Donovan tell me no before pursuing other candidates.
  15. Look at tech trying to get some footage out there of Ojo not getting run over. Bless their heart.
  16. Not the year to need a coach with UNC and likely Kansas opening
  17. I'm not sure bench is as big of a deal with him. He's got long arms. 40 time puts him just outside of typical range and that wasn't an official time or anything. Hard to hear in there because they're all taking their own times. I think he'll interview with teams well and the tape speaks for itself.
  18. Yeah I'm not sure. That would indeed be dumb.
  19. Hank, you say Burke didn't do anything to hurt his stock, but those testing numbers seem really poor. What am I missing?
  20. The on3 page for them is reporting it is and that its more likely he is headed to LSU
