  1. Past hour
  2. Urban Meyer somewhere “I can fix them”
  3. Yep. Trying to keep Golden as long as possible!
  4. Maybe it just needs some more cow bell?
  5. Crenshaw senior HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/v/2UL3VR
  6. Through 5 games this season, Crenshaw has recorded 31 tackles, 13.5 TFL’s and 5 sacks.
  7. Friday update on Texas LB target Jason Crenshaw Jr. Texas was by Prattville (Ala.) High earlier today to see Georgia Tech LB commit and Texas target Jason Crenshaw Jr. That included defensive coordinator Will Muschamp. OTF talked to a source close to the recruitment and the word is Texas walked away impressed after the in person eval. Crenshaw is a legit 6-1 and 222 pounds. OTF can report that Crenshaw is a “take” for Texas. Crenshaw was offered by Texas September 21. Since that time, OTF’s @Hank Southbroke the news that Crenshaw has scheduled an OV to Texas Oct. 24-25 weekend around the Ole Miss game. Crenshaw originally committed to Georgia Tech over North Carolina.
  8. Sounds like he needs an OC 🫠 (beating a dead horse I know)
  9. I think part of the issue is Sark is trying to make his QBs play like NFL QBs and doesn't build his system to their strengths, they have to learn his system the way he built it. Which is fine and dandy when you have a QB with those skills sets. Deboer, Kiffin, etc. utilize QB friendly systems with easy quick reads. Additionally, I think it was Bobby or someone who mentioned this morning that it doesn't seem like Arch can audible when he sees something the defense is showing. So basically if the defense called the right D, he's handcuffed. Sark does motions to see what the defense is going to be and then makes his play call; well today's defenses are advanced enough to show one thing and actually be something else. In essence, they could be baiting Sark into doing what they wanted him to do. My data points would be - when he runs out of choices and has to let Arch play backyard football with no huddle and quick reads. Arch seems to perform significantly better.
  10. #6 is beautiful
  11. That's fair. Where I would point to as a data point (as we don't know for sure since we're not behind the curtain) would be in Vic's rant after the embarrassing loss to Vandy last year when he was frustrated and said some things out loud. One of which was - the players not following the game plan and what was drilled in practice in the game. I can't remember his exact words, but it was something to the effect of - "many hours of work and they just ignored it It can be argued that part of coaching is getting the players to execute and do what you want them to do. I do feel like in today's NIL world that seems to be a lot harder than it used to be and many coaches are experiencing that.
  12. Iowa Colony lost its QB who was an OKST commit. His dad is an assistant coach who left Iowa Colony to take a job at Fort Bend Hightower over the offseason and his son went with him. Also a really good baseball player. The Iowa Colony vs. Randle game will be closer than Randle's last few games, but Randle should win big this year. Probably won't need LWC a ton that game like they did vs. SOC or Westfield
  13. John Wooden like.
  14. Lmao. This reminded me of a story no one asked for. One of my buddies (Nate) growing up was a really good soccer player that also kicked for the football team. He eventually earned a walk-on spot as a kicker at TCU. One of our middle school coaches was former Texas walk-on WR and FG holder Cade McCrary. He was like 1-2 years out of college and was super fun to be around. Well sometimes during special teams practice, he'd tell Nate to purposely kick the ball at the back of the OL during FG and PAT segments just like that video. And for no reason other than it was hilarious. During kickoff segments, he'd always make the front row of the kick return scout team consist of the fattest kids on the team, so the OL. I remember in 7th grade one day we were practicing a few onsides, and McCrary and Nate got the idea to kick the ball as hard as he could at one of the OL to see if they could dodge it in time. Nate ended up kicking the ball so hard it got stuck in our center's facemask 10 yards away, who could not dodge it in time since he was like 240 pounds as a 12-13 year old. A few guys on the kickoff team ran and decleated him and the ball popped out of his facemask on the hit like it was a cartoon. I think it was the hardest I've ever laughed in my life. McCrary was just hilarious to be in practice with. We'd be in warmups and he'd have a coach drive the golf cart around the field as he stood on the back of it throwing footballs trying to earhole us in the side of the helmet lol. And the OL would have to sometimes catch punts for us to not do conditioning. 7th and 9th grade football was the most fun I ever had playing sports
  15. That Superfractor number could get wild if two Arch collectors decide they need it. The 1/1 market has no brakes sometimes.
  16. Florida finding more NIL changes the whole comparison, the old development-first model is getting harder to spot.
  17. Today
  18. Fantastic stuff. 🤘
  19. “Let them fail while it’s cheap” is a phenomenal outlook and way to describe it
  20. He also had a RB playing QB his first year at Alabama. Simpson and so far Russell have both been great. I also question development at the position here. Two #1 overall rated recruits at QB who have not been on that same level. Fingers need to be pointed at Milwee more imo
  21. Pretty good soph. highlights — http://www.hudl.com/v/2TRaXV I'm almost positive the 2nd play is the play Chris Stewart hurt his shoulder which made him miss most of Shadow Creek's games during his senior season. The injury was an AC joint sprain and happened week 1 of the season
  22. Also keep in mind Bama has played one team in the top 50 defenses (EPA / play) in Kentucky. Keelon went 16/23 188 yds 1TD 2 INTs (pick 6) with a QBR of 43. Not really about DeBoer/Sark because I agree with you but more so just pumping the breaks on Keelon with a 4 game sample sizes.
