  1. Past hour
  2. So even with the surgeries they had Goosby Wingo and Arch are still present and vocal leaders during winter conditioning?
  3. Good question!! Tech would be a choice but why give them the satisfaction?! Now that we have OU TAMU and Arkansas I’m happy. Outside of tech the only other team that would be interesting to renew a heated exchange might be Nebraska or Colorado.
  4. Solid update 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
  5. Lamar university- after all LSU plays MC neese
  6. Some updates for the team as the month of January begins to turn to February. The full team, to my knowledge, is in Austin. That includes portal additions and of course all of the HS class. The HS class all moved in about 2.5 weeks ago on January 9-10. Now, things all are in the hands of Torre Becton and his staff. Winter workouts have begun for the Texas Longhorns. Of course, the ice storm has made things a bit trickier, but ultimately the team has been working out in the weight room and should get going even more on the field for mat drills + conditioning as the days continue. With the coaches on the road to see 2027 and 2028 prospects, they won't see much of the team for the next week or so. That of course is when Torre Becton's staff comes into play. Texas is looking to replace a lot of leadership – and I have heard the names of importance for the winter include Arch Manning, Trevor Goosby, Connor Robertson and Ryan Wingo on offense. For the other side of the ball, TyAnthony Smith, Colin Simmons, Hero Kanu and Jelani McDonald are going to be where you sit the leadership start. I had long wondered what the vocal leadership component would look like for Texas, but believe they will be in good hands, even with 40+ new faces on campus from the portal and high school ranks. Early enrollee updates should be coming over the next week or so, as their familiarity with the day to day process increases.
  7. To hell with the Prairie Aggies.
  8. Texas Tech the company I work for has a HQ in Lubbock so naturally we hav Tech alum everywhere so it would be awesome to smack them around and shut up all the bragging from them about being top 10 just for surviving their intense schedule 🤣
  9. Good Ole SWC showdown … UH ….
  10. Sul Ross! TTU only if it was always in Austin!! 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
  11. With how cocky tech has gotten since their little CFP participation trophy got handed out it would definitely be them.
  12. Today
  13. Reminds me of a good trivia question - what college football team did Alabama play 3 times, but never beat? We used to be included in that short list, until the 2010 BCS.
  14. For me, it's Tech, they seem to have forgotten the BTA we gave them right before the 2023 Big 12 Conference Championship Game. That said, I doubt Tech would play us, that cake walk of their's called the Big 12 is something they're not going to risk. They're like the big spender at the bar that talks big but would never "walk outside" to handle any business. Hook'em.
  15. I was going to say the same thing. I know it is not popular, and it would pretty difficult to get full support for that game. But given their standing in the Big 12 and CFP landscape, it would be fun to reignite that head to head.
  16. Incarnate Word San Antonio
  17. I see the Longhorns are ranked higher in the NET than Bucky ball. Imagine that.
  18. Tech is the correct answer. They are getting entirely too cocky these days. Would be fun to kick their teeth in and remind them what happens when tortilla-throwing cockroaches go up against a big boy football program.
  19. He’s cheap/free to develop unlike many of the guys who pose that same risk as heavily offered 3-5 stars.
  20. Problem is those guys don't stick around much anymore
  21. Not anybody I care about playing every year they isn't already going to be an every year opponent I would love to see us play Nebraska in a home and home series again
  22. Interesting.... that some guys don't watch football? Huh ?
  23. “Why does Rice play Texas?”
