  1. Past hour
  2. I guess it depends on where he goes. I'm still a fan of some of these transfers like Derrion Gullette, not so much for Brenen Thompson.
  3. Wisner’s absence makes absurdly easy arguments for Texas when they are trying to woo portal RBs: - no incumbent starter - no split locker room - no $ comparisons We are going to get at least one very good back, and probably two. Which is what Bobby, CJ, Gerry, and friends have been saying all along.
  4. Best in the business!
  5. Thank you to all of you at OTF for your hard work, your knowledge, the fabulous content and for creating this wonderful community! 250k subs is a huge milestone and very well deserved! Congratulations!!! 👏🎉 500k is next!
  6. I mean, that’s kind of the issue. As much as we love Tre, not sure he is a starting caliber back for a team with deep CFP run/natty aspirations. We really need a hammer that can get there in short yardage plus a homerun hitter that can house it from anywhere on the field. Texas has no RBs that fits the description on either of those criteria.
  7. I thought all Arch's NIL deals were outside the university.
  8. Guessing that a guy who makes his rep on outside runs, cutbacks, good hands, and pass pro is a better fit in the B12 than in the SEC or B1G.
  9. Agree, hope he lands well just not in the SEC at Owho or TAMU!! He’s a longhorn legend always and a great player and story. Hate to see his career as a Longhorn end this way. Maybe he’ll look to the NFL instead of transfer portal ultimately so we don’t have to see him in anything other than burnt orange!
  10. I agree, but perhaps he wanted to be able to start in order to have some national exposure to further his career.
  11. Good luck to him. Texas needs a true RB1 and Wisner isn't it. He's an average-to-good player. Excellent person but Texas needs to level up.
  12. Losing Tre really hurts! He was the heart and soul of our running back room and was one of my favorite players. He had so much grit and passion when he toted the rock! Will follow his career for sure.
  13. They can match all they want, but this UF program seems like a disaster right now. I know they’re UF, but even if the new coach does a great job, they’re still in for a rebuild of at least a year, barring some miracle. if I’m Baugh, I want to make the move to a contender, especially if the money is all equal. I’m looking at Texas, Alabama, Ohio State, Indiana, Notre Dame, even A&M and OU. And I’d imagine that Juluke, along with a clear path to playing time and competitive NIL, gives us the advantage.
  14. UT is making a smart choice here. Wisner lacks the talent to be a #1 RB in the SEC. Wisner IMO is making a bad choice. Should have come back as a #2 and spent the rest of his life as a UT legend like Rod B, Fozzy Whitaker, Whittington, Roschon, etc.
  15. Cooper will be #3 by conference time. Sark will not be on the Herman Bijan plan.
  16. It goes both ways. UT having to make tough decisions and players also. It’s the system we currently live with.
  17. Today
  18. Wisner can be #1 somewhere, but will that somewhere pay more than Texas would pay for a #2? That seems doubtful to me.
  19. I think speed at RB is kind of overrated, because really the passing game is always going to be better for finding explosive plays. What you really need at RB is the ability to keep the chains moving, pick up short yardage and run in the red zone, and unfortunately Wisner wasn't good at the later two of those.
  20. It's a good move all around; he can be #1 at any number of colleges. On the other side we are probing the portal for a power back, and have one coming in (Cooper).
  21. Ha time to go fishing in the portal!
