Quoting reality: he’s right. It’s so ignorant, or whatever word, to deny we are clearly not the best team in the country right now. It’s objectively true. Top 5 defense. Very mid and inconsistent offense. We beat number one but that was also only one good quarter of football and the heat. Also, who gives a 💩 about the ranking? If he can get to like 14+ sacks in the 12 regular season games and Texas is in the CFP at that point, I think he ends up in New York, even though a 100% defensive player will probably never win the Heisman.

This literally proves the point of this post- you are completely overlooking SOS and schedule context. While other teams have been playing cupcakes and lesser conference opponents, Texas has played and beat two Top 15 teams with quality defenses.

Everybody is still coming out of their stance and he’s already three steps into his pass rush. The ball get off is beyond impressive, terrifying for an OT and one of many reasons why he will be a top 10 pick next year in the draft.

OU held Georgia to 12 first downs. They game got out of hand due to the OU turnovers including 1 where OU was close to scoring and their qb gave Georgia a gift td.

I’m curious for the MODS and smarter people in the room than me (basically everyone). Why can’t Sark actually put together a full 60 minute offensive masterpiece? It does seem most HC’s who have play calling fail at both is this just another one of those cases? for all of the stupid penalties that are just straight up mental. How can this still being going on? Sark preaches culture but that’s a straight representation of the coach and culture in my opinion

The media has soundbites they have to parrot: 1. Sark Offensive genius 2. Arch Manning next anointed QB Jesus 3. Cam Coleman so when the offense doesn’t fire on all cylinders, the hype the media created makes the team look overrated. The few magic moments make you scratch your head and hope it will be alright. What I am seeing is 5-6 man blitzes and an unwillingness to adapt quickly. That causes our whole offense to look out of sync. Is it Arch? Is it Sark? As long as Sark isn’t turning the ball over 2+ times a game the defense can carry us.

She made this decision a long time ago. Two elite level sisters playing together is cool.

This schedule has been a gift. We got to find our legs against Texas State, played a tough game against Ohio State at home, have the inevitable hangover game against UTSA, and then having been battle tested get to play Tennessee on the road in a noon game. Each step of the way, the team has found multiple things to work on and get better. The bad it's that we have found similar issues from last year, but the good is that we're 4-0.
