  1. Past hour
  2. I think next year will be huge if Sark makes the right staff moves and attacks the portal like he did in 23 and 24. We lose some big time players for us but so much upside has been shown from the younger guys these last few games.
  3. DB room will be interesting and expensive if Akina is retained.
  4. I thought Moore might have accidentally touched the ball as it came down, and that’s why he went back to get it and run it out. You’re probably right about the plan, but he decided too late to let it bounce and couldn’t get out of the way quickly enough.
  5. This week, I have been thinking about the growth of the OL and QB, as well as many stud players having another year(almost) of experience. Not looking past the Aggies, but thinking about how we have been building for this year.... and how (relatively) young we are. In the past 2 drafts, we have had double digit players drafted. This year, i could see only a handful and those will be impacted by underclassman decision. (Taaffe and Burke are the only seniors I think will for sure get drafted- other possibilities will be listed below). In the past 2 years, we have had 5 first rounders, 5 second rounders, and 13 later round picks (and Isiah bond who should have been drafted if not for legal troubles). What this looks like to me is we have the most returning talent in the past few years. We have the portal to fill in some gaps like the IOL, but the future for these players and the incoming recruit looks as bright as ever. I know this is a couple weeks early for offseason talk, but the early season Arch turning into mature experienced Arch and the young DBs playing have me thinking about what is possible. Outgoing Seniors (starters and key contributors) OL- Hutson and Campbell DL- Burke, Shaw, Trey Moore, DB- Taaffe, Guilbeau Draft Eligible Juniors- Expecting Goosby and some others that could work themselves into draft as staying at the moment) LB- Hill DB- Manny M, Jelani I am absolutely baffled by how little turnover might occur is we can keep players like Ant Hill and Manny, and the amount of talent coming in. This is where the Sark talk seems silly. Yes we need to win big games, but to see how the roster management is looking and how many SO and FR are ready to have big seasons in the next ear or two is absolutely huge. Excited to see Littleton, Phillips, Jackson, January, Ffrench, Lockett, Terry, and so many more grow up and make an impact on the 40 acres.
  6. Well, they are rushing 3 and we have 6 guys blocking, so that explains a lot about our 'success'.
  7. Imma call my shot now. 2027 first round pick for us.
  8. Isn't Hutson gone? That's both OGs to replace and that room doesn't look promising as it stands. Have to hope Goosby stays another year too.
  9. He got that RB on the ground in a hurry on a couple snaps too
  10. For sure. That secret places tour is so cool. I’m a little older but it’s still cool to drink a glass of bourbon in the governors office 🤭
  11. Name the home run hires of Alabama and Georgia over that time frame.
  12. Just my weekly plug for The Film Guy. Agreed with almost everything he had to say. Appreciate that he is one of the few media members that has been able to objectively cover Arch this season, and always backs up praise or criticism with actual film. https://youtu.be/HOvtxWz_TDI?si=i92HnJScPpRADXN_
  13. Sark isn’t bringing in a guy to run his offense.
  14. Today
  15. My dad actually was friends with a part of the current staff in college and we reconnected with her and got to see some cool secret places and offices. It was really cool. Really appreciate the thought and offer tho man!
  16. SC’s pass rush was able to rattle reed resulting in two ints and a lost fumble. They should have had another one or two picks as well. If we can pressure him, we’ll get our turnovers.
  17. I would love to bring Chip Kelly to help with Offense, though the O did look good against Arkansas. And Bring Wilcox on D.
  18. Would be nice if Sark did that.
  19. Texas is 11th in the country in turnover margin at +10; a&m is 95th at -3; Texas averages +1.5 turnovers at home while a&m is -0.3 on the road. I am hoping that equates to Texas being at least +1 on Friday.
  20. Eastern New Mexico obviously does not have a PR department, truly stupid.
  21. As an Arkansas grad. I remember the “splash” hires we made with Houston Nutt, Bielma, Chad Morris, and Sam Pittman. The only coach that grew the program and didn’t constantly under achieve (Houston Nuttjob) or just straight up run the program into the ground (Bielma, Morris, Pittman) was MotorBobby. As a Texas grad Texas has made some bad hires for sure as have many programs. There’s a reason why the same guys get recycled at the top. Sure, young guys need a chance but let’s just look at how well recent young gun/hot coach hires have gone at places like FSU and Florida? The only one that’s really worked out so far is Freeman at ND and it’s not like they play a killer schedule like the SEC.
  22. They just kill it every week!😂
  23. Imagine if that's what you can get for 2026! Optimism here.
  24. Not like Arch has bad mechanics but man I think he could generate a lot more power by really torquing his lower body, a lot of his throws seem like he's throwing with just his arm and not really letting his lower body do most of the work. Right now he's a pretty linear thrower, look at the leg whip when he's throwing. If I was in his camp that would be number one the list in things to work on in the off season, he could gain a lot more velocity, accuracy and overall strain his arms less. Right now it looks like it hurts to throw it and he's still been very very impressive. All the other things that you can't teach a QB he has it.
  25. Just imagine if we had this against Florida.
