  2. GO PACK GO!
  3. Thanks, I'm really clueless when it comes to some of the "lesser" sports. Like how tennis and golf scholarships work, I assume the top 4-5 ish are on scholarship and the others are walk ons. Typically on the roster there seems to be a lot more than what we see play in the matches.
  4. Not bad. He's only played 8 snaps though vs the rest of those guys in double digits
  5. It is an extremely hard sport to recruit, but with all the changes in rosters and scholarship limits I can see Texas becoming competitive if they want to. Before, it was hard to have a great distance and sprint program. XC is always just an extension of your distance program for track. Now they can fully fund the program, again, if they want to.
  6. I don't think I've ever seen cross country compete for a national championship, is it because there aren't any scholarships there and most of the track and field scholarships go to indoor/outdoor T&F teams?
  7. ahh, dang... yes, when i miss live, I use spotify. but i was hoping for some other live audio only feed.
  8. Great to see!
  9. Today
  10. Can’t wait to see arch in november and december because that’s when i think he’ll start rounding into the high expectations form way to many had for him.
  11. T’vondre and Barryn are testaments to staying all 4 years and taking your development serious
  12. There is something clearly off with Arch Manning. The Texas quarterback has yet to live up to the hype so far this season. He has completed just 55.3% of his passes for 579 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions to go with 112 rushing yards and three rushing scores through three starts. However, when you watch Manning play, he’s played pretty poorly and nothing has looked solid. Manning’s issues are very different from the issues Clemson’s Cade Klubnik and South Carolina’s LaNorris Sellers are dealing with because they aren’t holistic. That Texas offense has quality wide receivers and running backs with a good offensive line. Has that group played its best football around Manning? Probably not. Still, this is an Arch-specific issue with Texas’ offense. Manning threw 10 straight incompletions against UTEP. His completion percentage is the second-worst in the SEC. But when you account for throws that actually go past the line of scrimmage, he’s completing just 46% of his passes. So, I went back and watched every throw Manning made against UTEP to try and diagnose the problem. Just to preface this, when I watch a young quarterback, there are a few things I look for. One of them is to see if the speed of the game is impacting his play. That looks to be the case for Manning. Even with the games he started last year, it didn’t really translate to him being comfortable. 13. So much to play out this year regarding the Cup. 1 bad required sport will hurt Texas but certainly not sink our chances. If Stanford puts up 0s again in W and M Bball and baseball, Texas still has a great shot. I haven't written it up yet but Cross Country also not looking super strong but you could make a good argument for every other team on campus to have very very high level success this year.
  14. Imagine spending all this time trying to “unmask” random posters on a sports message board. That’s desperate. I’m here to talk ball, you’re here to write fan fiction. Digging through Twitter to prove I’m some mystery man? That’s not detective work, that’s just you putting in more effort than the actual coaching staff. Maybe take a water break, you’re working harder at this than the team’s offensive line.
  15. We’re going to see Brock Williams play tonight. He’s a five star TE who plays for Libertyville (IL) HS. Will report back.

  16. Don't feel the need to respect dumb takes. "We may have seen the best of Sark so let's cut our losses now and hire the next sure thing"?? Just confounding...
  17. Super lazy response but makes sense you’d choose it.
  18. Oregon is just trying to squeeze every bit of juice out of Knight before he checks out.
  19. Love this!! Talk about a real DUDE!!
  20. He was one of the rare players that got better year by year. I remember watching against Tech in 21 thinking this guy can be something down the road. Glad to see he is still getting better!
  21. Barryn Sorrell is beasting out to start the season. Through the first two games, he has the highest pash rush winrate in the NFL for anyone with more than 5 snaps @ 33.3%. 2 Pressures, 1 sack and 1 hurry on 8 attempts. This doesn't surprise Longhorn Nation but still amazing to see what we know actually play out for this young man. Can't wait to see him continue his upward rise.
  22. once this is complete, what is going where the bubble and practice field are now?
  23. Baugh, Simon, Cooper, and Stewart would be a pretty nice RB room. You would have it all from power, speed, acceleration, vision, pass catching, and pass pro.
  24. @Gerry Hamilton I go all in on Jayden Baugh
  25. I have 48-6 Horns
