So true. The run game was working but both Baxter and Blue put the ball on the ground. That made Sark not trust the run at times. I don’t recall Brooks ever having that issue. What could have been!

100%!! Honestly, if we had just run the ball with Baxter and Blue I think we at least beat UW and have a great shot at UM!!

Found this interesting. Penn state, another flagship university with strong athletics, basically made a ton from football and barely broke even covering all the other sports. Texas likely in better shape but most other schools probably don’t fare as well

I’m really excited to see this offense gel and grow into itself. Championship is always the goal, but more specifically to see these guys really find their confidence and rhythm all year to allow all the talent to flourish to become a dominant force is what’s really going to be special.

Thanks for posting this CJ... from the looks of the photos, it seems like "GeFridge's" signature move is to get the OL to try to block him on one leg/foot... very effective DL technique! I must say I didn't notice him in the Arkansas game last season, but I will notice him controlling the middle of the Texas Defense this upcoming season. Back in the day, I remember when Casey Hampton used to trot onto the field and I would think the middle of the Longhorns D is about to be a WALL... Good luck to Ian and Hook 'Em!

Ice Brady is another big we should look at as well. Tall, strong and physical.

Not sure Merkle is going to fit defensively but she'd be nice to have offensively. I like Carnegie and Vann though. They're athletic enough to be molded in Vic's defense but can really score too. Haven't really seen Dauda play much in a while but Cody would fill in what we're losing with Oldacre.
