  1. Past hour
  2. Which is so stupid at this point
  3. More Texas Tech diabolicism
  4. Can Sorsby actually prove his innocence, though?? 🤔
  5. So we should be able to throw around as much nil as we want, but Texas won't do that because its Texas. They go by the book 🙄
  6. Exactly right! The sad thing is Tech had the chance to truly set themselves as a leader and example. If they kicked him off the team, accept the NCAA ruling, support him in his recovery, go play, and win with the talent they do have their they shining example of how to handle a situation they inherited. Plus Codeman looks like the moral voice of boosters. Instead, this.
  7. Understandable argument. I’d rather continue to do the right thing and okay by the rules as they’re written. We’re winning with integrity and within the rules. Ultimately, that will prevail over this dotcom like bubble that is using legal tactics to for short term success. I’ll play the long game on this one.
  8. It may be a Pyrrhic victory. When the SEC and Big 10 eventually break away from the ncaa and form super leagues, there won’t be too many additional spots available. Tech might be inadvertently sealing their own fate with this crap. Does anyone actually think that Texas (or A&M for that matter) is gonna go to bat for the cockroaches to join their league?
  9. Yeah, okay Josh Pate. I don’t remember you holding Joey’s feet to the fire when you interviewed him last week, but I do remember you giving him a huge platform to trash Texas. So spare us the dramatics.
  10. The problem is that once we start doing it, we will get punished for it.
  11. He losing his hair(what's left of) fast. Besides, If even Josh Pate - the most neutral, non‑confrontational guy in college football media - won’t defend Tech, you know it’s bad. When he basically shrugs and says ‘yeah, that’s on y’all,’ the conversation is over
  12. Texas is following rules that have no consequences and that was on full display. As it relates to Rev share, why should we follow Rev share, when we could pay $25 mill for a recruiting class every year? We could literally have $45+ million rosters a year, but we don’t because we “follow the rules.” Don’t think we should do that anymore. We should just unleash the Death Star and open up the wallets like never before.
  13. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
  14. Pete Rose for the Hall of Fame!
  15. This has been my thought process through this whole thing. Tech and the Sorsby camp are making a complete mockery of addiction and recovery. It's disgusting to see the enabling that is happening to someone that very likely does have an addiction and is not getting the actual help and cold hard honesty he needs in order to truly deal with it and start true recovery.
  16. I don't know. What's the point in holding back..Spill the beans...
  17. They can celebrate now, but what a myopic view and how blind they are to the impact on sports in general. Ultimately, I truly believe the right thing will be done and he will be ineligible. Hopefully some adult can step in and end this chaos.
  18. Good post, but you’re still blending NCAA rules with federal law. Betting on your own team is an NCAA issue, not a federal case. You only get federal heat with actual game‑fixing, fraud, or money laundering - none of which apply here. Taking the under twice isn’t a crime, it’s just bad gambling.
  19. Yes and it’s metastasized such that college sports as we know it has moved to hospice and we’re waiting for the end.
  20. Probably Tech.
  21. Campbell a stage four cancer on college athletics.
  22. Torres is on my wishlist, her defense is amazing.
  23. At the end of the day, Campbell can have his cake and eat it too. He gets his quarterback (at what cost? I don't know) and will have everyone rushing to get this bill passed in Congress. They knew this was going to blow up, and they sacrificed everyone's integrity to do so.
  24. Every away game for Sorsby will be an extremely hostile environment. That sounds like something that will help him through his gambling and anxiety addictions.
