You mean the playoffs? It depends on the competition for the spot. If you can't lose three in the toughest schedule in the country and have a chance, then Texas needs to lighten the schedule.

Ya, just finished the Always College Football podcast. Sounds like all defenses for all the top teams are ahead of their offenses in scrimmages and practice. No teams are perfect, and it’s a long way to go. Best and worst is yet to come. Good your loins, friends.

Right now, we don't have one scheduled. We'll be at The Victory Lap this Sunday night, then we'll be at the Co-Op the following Friday. We may try to do a Happy Hour somewhere on the Thursday before the game.

Gilmer vs Henderson Scrimmage

Ha what rules anymore . Except being a former coach I know how strict Texas UIL transfers are , as we have seen lately. My feeling from the Georgia Boards are they aren't too fond of Buford , don't get a lot of kids from there. The NIL deal really only affects big time players. And I can understand wanting to leave Texas to go to a state that allows payments before you enroll at the University. In Texas you can now sign contracts, but no pay until enrollment. Imo that needs to change, but the Coaching lobby so far is against that. Good discussion and we will see.

Could be right. I'm certainly ignorant of Georgia High School transfer rules.
