  1. Past hour
  2. Pretty much been hurt since he got here.
  3. Thank you! Too many posters on here are trying to pin this on Sark and his play calling... Those posters are completely out of touch and just lazy. This was all Arch. Arch was awful. Plain and simple. He made so many terrible throws on what should have been routine passes. That killed drives all game long. Any poster here that can't point to that as the fundamental problem in this game is blind. If Arch can make more of those simple throws, this game and Sark's play calls are different. What is any OC supposed to do when the QB can't make a simple throw.
  4. What happened to the portal WR we got? Emmett or something like that?
  5. “It’s hard to put any level of blame for the loss on the defense. Pete Kwiatkowski’s unit did everything it could to keep the Longhorns in the game.“ how many more times can this happen before we make noticeable changes? PKs defense has carried us in every big game and Sarks offense has failed to get us over the hump. Very frustrating for year 5 under Sark
  6. You can have a better game plan than running Quinn offense with him instead of waiting until you have to open it up.
  7. Did everything he could after he got burned. If Sayin would have put more mustard on it Guilbeau might not have been within 3 yards of Tate
  8. I am upset and disappointed, but I'm not giving up. I really didn't see this coming. I suppose Bobby is one of the few that did.
  9. Texas run game really excited me. And the OL will get better and better. That will give the Horns a chance this season … if Arch makes enough strides
  10. I’d say Endries won the TE battle against Klare Ohio State might be in trouble going against PSU, unless our run game and run D is just really good. We could have probably run for over 200 yds today if Arch wouldn’t have given Ohio State freebie outs with bad incompletions
  11. Na we suck and are losing every game oh crap wrong thread carry on lmao kidding kidding 🤘🤘🤘🤘
  12. Oversight on my part in leaving Littleton out. I meant to include him. I thought Guilbeau did everything he could on the touchdown catch by Carnell Tate. Tate made a heck of a play.
  13. Penalties and Arch’s not getting into a rhythm. The game plan made sense but Arch couldn’t make the throws but I do think the vanilla game was intentional. Can’t show everything game 1. Clean up the penalties, watch the tape and build from here. Don’t let this game beat us twice
  14. Positive outlook: Texas beats the defending champs on the road if Arch just plays a C+ game
  15. It could be worse. We could be down by 10 at halftime like #8 bama to an unranked FSU team that just went 2-10 less than a year ago.
  16. How does Graceson Littleton not get a game ball? Dude was insane out there as a true freshman going against probably the best group of pass catchers in the nation. He seemed to quickly earn the respect of Ohio State. They seemed to stop picking on him. Guilbeau seems like the weak link in the secondary at the moment.
  17. This is absolutely the thing to be most critical of in this game. I will defend a lot of what others are crying and screaming about, but the RZ was bad and has been for several years now.
  18. Me too, especially with sloppiness. I know it's an opener, but there are trends Texas needs to reverse to break through to the next level as a program.
  19. We were moving the ball great from the jump, and would've had balance of Arch could hit the easy throws. I also think the penalties killed our momentum. Like, Wingo false starting...what the hell? That was the difference in the game today. Every piece of field position we earned by out rushing and being more physical than OSU and having a hellacious punter, was thrown away by bizarre untimely penalties.
  20. Well the fairy tale start for Arch’s career didn’t happen, and rightfully so. I don’t think there’s a quarterback in the country who has this amount of pressure on them like Arch does and go into the Shoe and beat Ohio State. Ohio State still has an amazing defense, but our offense didn’t do much to make that seem otherwise besides that last couple minutes of the game and on the ground which was a pleasant surprise. It always stinks playing such a huge game to start off the season and lose because people tend to give up on you so early, but this Texas team is gonna to be just fine. They’re a great football team that just needs to workout their kinks. These next four weeks should spark this team backup and get them ready for another hostile environment when they go to the swap “where the season really begins”. All this team needs to do is fix that dang red zone efficiency. We win the game if we score on 2 of the 3 times we got there this game, even if that’s Sark letting the team take an easy three. Down the season I think we need to take our points when we have them and keep the momentum up. That doesn’t mean stop being aggressive down there but once we figure out a solid solution to score in close yardage I say take our points. Lastly this defense is once again championship caliber. This season is gonna be a fun one and I have a feeling we’ll see OSU again. HOOK’EM everyone enjoy your weekends.
  21. The fact Sark had his QB in the 3rd year of the system in training wheels most of the game I just couldn’t get behind. But this is coming from an idiot who watched the game from the couch. Anyway Hookem 🤘🏼🤘 only can have one more loss long season ahead we got this
